Aside from the bullshit TikTokspeak such as unalived and graped, another thing I'm sick of hearing is when content creators add extra words to circumvent saying a naughty word.

So for example, instead of saying, "Committed suicide", they'll say, "He would terminate his own existence." I saw some lame conspiracy theory true crime channel the other day, and it was hosted by some Zoomer with brainrot. Under no circumstance did he ever say "dead" or "died". He would always say, "Not living anymore" or "Passed on from this world." I'm also hearing more and more creators refer to drugs as "substances".

You would hear actual sentences like:
I've seen Barely Sociable do this kind of dumb shit, but also recently I just heard some true crime/conspiracy slop channel called Coop doing this down to a T. He even has brainrot too as you described.

Coop is essentially baby's first conspiracy theory channel who talks about already well-known topics and dumbs them down for normies. He self-censors a lot and never says naughty words like "death" or "suicide". He released a video about "inventors who disappeared", implying some notable inventors were mysteriously killed by "the man" after their life-altering inventions would interfere with big corporations. Some of these cases are true and have weird rabbit holes, but some of the cases in his videos are just debunked schizo shit. Notably, one of the persons discussed was this con artist named Stanley Meyer who claimed to have invented a car that runs on water by using special batteries that convert water to hydrogen fuel, which is physically impossible and has been dunked several times.

Coop tries to discredit the people who debunked the water car battery thing by saying something like, "Of course 'they' debunked it. That's what they want you to think." He also seems to ignore that the water fuel cell's inventor was sued for investment fraud and then lost. So if The Man tried to silence Stanley Meyer for inventing a car that runs on water, then how do you explain this:
Meyer's patents have expired. His inventions are now in the public domain, available for all to use without restriction or royalty payment.[13] No engine or vehicle manufacturer has incorporated Meyer's work.
"Oy vey! The goyim know who to magically make a car run on water instead of gasoline! We better assassinate the inventor and then release his instructions for free into the public domain!"

Coop also claims that Meyer's cause of death [cerebral aneurysm] was dubious because he had no prior history or indications of having an aneurysm, so he doubts that it randomly appeared out of nowhere. MOTHERFUCKER, that's the nature of aneurysms, you dumb shit! They appear out of nowhere and undetected, and can happen to anybody!!

I tried to watch some of Coop's earlier videos about the Las Vegas shooting, and had to tap out because of all of his fucking audio glitches and self-censorship. Why even bother talking about a deadly tragic killing spree if you can't even describe what happened in the attack. I wonder if anyone else has mentioned his channel in the Nexpo/true crime thread.

"Disappeared" used as a verb with a direct object is getting on my nerves. As in "ICE disappeared the poor Mexican family." Very obviously politically motivated to allude to the secret police in a lot of authoritarian regimes (though I almost always think of commies like the USSR when I hear the term used lol) in spite of the fact that we know who was taken, where they were taken to, who (as in what agency) took them, why they were taken, etc. It's nothing like enemies of the state vanishing without a trace because they spoke out against the government, but obviously the leftists propagating that term don't care. They just use it because it sounds scary and "you could be next"-ish to midwits, as well as playing into their fantasies of being brave rebels fighting against the evil dystopian empire.

What really got me MATI, though, was this from the AIDS thread (ai derangement syndrome, not the other terminal affliction with the same name.)
Obviously nothing to do with ICE or liberals or anything I complained about, but still being used to make it sound infinitely more scary, dystopian, etc than what's really happening. Normies cannot be trusted with any interesting, niche word since they will oversaturate discussion with it until it becomes meaningless.

"It's giving [insert whatever the fuck] vibe" my sister kept saying this shit to me. I guess this is now how the new generation is now making comparisons or whatever

Cortisol, serotonin, endorphin, dopamine. People tend to namedrop neurotransmitters just to sound smart (or rather, they used to, and now it's entered common parlance, which is worse because it's not even their own research) when the reality of the matter is more nuanced than that. "Oh, eating chocolate does my endorphins", "I'm getting my dopamine from tweeting", etc.
It's pretty evident that it comes from the most surface level oversimplification instead of actual knowledge of these things, which are often very intertwined and different sensations can't be wholly attributed to just one. It irks me that dumb people end up focusing on the shallowest part of the whole.
Also notice how nobody ever mentions oxytocin. Dopamine makes people move and serotonin makes people shit themselves, yet they never mention that. It's just "the thing that makes me feel good" or whatever to most people.
They really make my melatonin spike (by which I mean, they make me "crash out").

Emotional intelligence. Women love to bandy this one about, so that's how you know it's bullshit psychobabble.
I've never heard this term but most women lean too much on emotions to deal with problems. That's so insane to me. When has it ever been beneficial to use emotions to solve anything? Even if you are, say, comforting a grieving widow or something. Be strong. Be stoic and be honest. Bawling crying and hugging doesn't help anything.

Niggers are the worst at being emotional. That's why the men chimp out. They learned that shit from their mothers because they watched her chimp out because women in general (especially niggers) can not control their emotions.

This old Disney film is still relevant in this case...

'trauma' 'holding space' 'boundaries' 'gaslighting' 'emotional labor'. Any of these terms is a red flag, telling me to basically never have another conversation with this person again if I can help it. This stupid, shallow therapybabble is just aesthetically offensive to me on top of being retarded. Thanks for telling me that you're a puddle-deep navel gazer who does nothing but sit around picking at your profoundly superficial psychological scabs all day. Someone who literally cannot parse reality except through a facet that puts their 'experience' at the center of every occurrence on God's green earth.

Yup, same deal. Evolved from "I am fitting to" to "I'm fittin' da" to "finna" (I think).

There was one particular call-in to a radio show that I used to listen to all of the time that I will never forget. The caller was talking about how the infantilization of culture has gotten so ridiculous that even the terms being used are infantile. We no longer have fathers, we have baby daddies. We no longer have mothers, we have baby mommas. And we no longer live in homes, we live in cribs. It was one of my earlier red pill moments. Oh, duh! How did I not realize that? It was right in front of my face. That was when I started to realize how stupid and uncool this all was.
Fixing, not fitting. "Fixing to" is common in the South, for "I'm getting ready to" or "I'm about to."

"Baby daddy" does not mean "father." It is an insult and means a worthless sperm donor who created a single mother.

Oh gosh there's so many. I'd say 90% of current year terms upset me. A good chunk of the English language nowadays is useless. I think "Degenerate" is my least favorite though, it means nothing nowadays. Really any term made to somehow shame people over the internet, if you actually feel shame cause of something someone called you online, it's way past over, bruh.

Baby mama is much the same, as it basically describes a former partner who the subject had a child with, especially when they try to keep the subject out of the kid's life and/or demand child support payments. Still a sign of social decline that “deadbeat dad” and “despised ex with kids” have extremely common terms used to describe them, but not a sign of infantilization.

It's funnier when they keep shacking up despite hating each other's guts.

"Heal your gut"
"Balance your hormones"
"Regulate your nervous system"
"Nourishing mamas and their littles"
SHUT UPPPPPP OH MY GOD. I just want to read a little bit of hippy granola stuff without these same buzzword phrases in every other post. The trends themselves are another issue for, probably, another thread. Total Influencer Death.
