Amazon's Invincible - thoughts?

There are some minor improvements but PNGvincible is still alive and well. The color palette for this show is still complete dogshit with all this grey pastel garbage; it's like these people are allergic to vibrance.

Because it's flat, these people have no understanding of depth or perspective and it shows in how detached the characters are from their background. I recall a scene where a character is shown to be backed up against a tree but then a moment later does a 90 degree turn and somehow doesn't need to shift their torso slightly forwards as their shoulder would've bumped up against it and made such a turn without it impossible. It's small details like that which are all over the show and they're done as time saving measures because the team is unimaginably small even when you count the North Korean slaves.
 
so does anyone know if Eve is going to get an abortion? I googled it and it looks like there’s some canon where she gets an abortion and another where she keeps it? I’m confused

I don’t really know if I can handle the edginess of Eve aborting Mark’s kid it’s just too weird.

Otherwise I like the season so far but if this becomes super hero girl gets an abortion show I’m dipping out

Haven't read the comics but i cant imagine they'd make her get an actual abortion a path i could see is that she gets an "abortion" by means of her limiter thing turning off again and she (accidentally) changes her own atoms to remove all cells of the embryo
Like a lazy situation where they establish that she's unsure if she wants to keep the child and then it gets resolved by means outside of her control

also I don't know if im just a cynic but was the voice acting in the new episodes kind of subpar? there were multiple times where my immersion was completely broken because all i could see was voice actors in recording booths

I hope you're right. The way they make female characters a mouthpiece for every single feminist issue on the planet is so cringe. Tossing an abortion thread ontop of it would be so completely unnecessary with all the other plot lines happening right now.

They rush these episodes out so quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if they were literally timing every voice actor to speak and get out so their animator slaves can get to work
 
I fucking hate the Seth Rogan alien and the constant "hilarious" quippy dialogue. Also really enjoyed the repeated sex jokes in episode 2 because I'm thirteen and retarded.
 
watch nolans betrayal, nolan vs mark and conquest.

saved you 20 hours of wasted time, the rest is filler garbage so amazon can milk it for 30 seasons
 
She has... plot armor. Unless Kirkman made another goddamn change to the story for no reason but lol suprise comic-readers.
 
Why does a show with the backing of Amazon of all companies have such poor animation?
 
Arent they old enough and 'college educated' enough to know how babby is formed? Did they think Mark was sterile like how a mule is sterile? (lmao) Eve couldnt magic up a Plan B pill? If they make this out to be a great big bad thing its just going to be annoying. Also why wasnt Rudy/Rex's fancy scan machine able to tell if a woman is pregnant? Seems like an oversight

The writers are gonna make the scenes between Allen and Nolan extra gay I'm telling you. The triadic relationship joke almost confirms it if you ask me.

Is there a reason why you must make me defend this when Invincible has plenty of other things to shit on, like the animation that continues to not be up to snuff because they opt to pay big bucks for VAs instead or the Space Spaghetti that has not appeared yet but will inevitably be the absolute worst thing in the entire series bar none?

Also because, weirdly, amazon caring less about a show improves the animation quality since they won't force the people working on it to hire celebrity VA's for millions. This allows for much more money to go towards hiring animators, storyboard artists, etc. The people who manage vox machina aren't complete and total retards either.
