He's definitely just a bridge QB while Mendoza learns the playbook - though watch the Raiders go full Raiders and not draft him - , but it'll never not be funny to see Kirko Chainz continue securing his legacy. Not as a Hall of Fame caliber player, but as a generational bag securer.
Mendoza will be amazing if he can consistenly throw those undefendable back shoukder throws. As a Miami fan, those were infuriating because they were unstoppable unless he missed, which he barely did. Sitting him for a year with Brady coaching him will turn him into a monster.
I wish they'd just stick with these for alternates. These early Nobis-era throwbacks are some of the coolest looking unis in the league, and I'm not even a Falcons fan.

Edit: Ninja'd, apparently there's a consensus on these things.
There are so many teams whose best uniforms are their throwbacks. Creamsicle Bucs, Pony Broncos, 70s Dolphins (myself and every Dolphins fans in existence want to go back to that or at least the early 2000s look), Falcons, Kelly Green Eagles.

The mid-80s to early 90s were the absolute peak of NFL uniform design. Sharp, bright colors, great striping, and block numbers that were all easy to discern from way up in the stands. New England with the Flying Elvis logo and Carolina/Jacksonville when they started ushered in the era of gloomy, "grunge/punk" metallic color combos, swooshy logos, and wack-ass number designs. There's a reason every fan LOVES the fucking throwbacks, and it's because they still look amazing, no matter what team you might have rooted for.

GOAT'ed graphic of NFL legends who had a tenure on a team that everyone forgot about. It's the anti-memory lane; I don't remember Reggie White on the Panthers

Excuse you, we very fondly remember Seahawks Legend Jerry Rice and bring it up to annoy 49ers fans at every possible opportunity

Jadeveon Clowney, on the other hand, well...some people maybe remember his dirty hit basically ending Carson Wentz's time in Philly, but that's really about it.

A couple of these I remember (TO on the Bengals due to him and Chad Ochocinco teaming up, Steelers Vick cause of a last second td to beat the Chargers, the Cardinals Emmitt Smith and Seahawks Jerry Rice gets touted around online as ball knowledge) but the rest of this list is pretty solid.

Looks like we've got another cheating scandal with the Patriots.
"New England Patriots’ Mike Vrabel and top NY Times NFL reporter Dianna Russini hold hands and hug at luxury hotel"
And Russini told us, “The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.”

When you ain't nothin but a source.Ouch. Sorry about that, big dawg.

This is a peak offseason story, buttt I ain't never locked fingers with a woman I'm not fucking as a grown ass man.

Guess that's confirmation that Vrabel was 100% piping stories (and other things) to her during his breakup with the Titans.

I'm enjoying the memes this is generating
I'm not saying the Vrabel and Russini are fucking, but I know I'd be answering an awful lot of questions if I was photographed on the roof of a romantic vacation bungalow intertwining my fingers with the guy who drives the MAC tool truck. As Russini said they aren't friends, they aren't work friends, they aren't even work associates. Mike is a source. Absolute bungle of the cover story.

As a Pats fan I honestly don't care, if it doesn't effect his job as a good head coach which I think Vrabel is I don't care, but if I'm his wife I'd be fucking pissed lmao. Also their justification for it doesn't make it seem better, so they say they met up with a group of friends, Vrabel with his buddies and Russini with a hiking group? At a resort that's known for romance? That sounds like a fucking orgy or swingers hookup lol.

At least you'd have a legitimate excuse: "But, honey, this is the only way I can pay off my new toolbox!"
