Brianbuddies were real? I though everyone hated that dude, he was pure nontent for me once Cole was kicked left willingly
Them screaming at Cole to fuck off was the right move. He was going the same way Jon was in S1 by just refusing to participate at all, and the second he got pressure back on it he started Ninaposting. Dude was a fucking loser and /ftl/'s obsession with him was insane. It's the same reason Jimmy burned out too, they all just resorted to Markyposting-tier threats the second things didn't go their way.

It's part of the reason Bashir is commendable - he obviously knows the deep MDE lore and hasn't threatened any of that shit once despite also getting fucked with by production like Jimmy did.

Brianbuddies were real?
Hes talking about the team. Coleburners (JC, Cole) Chudgang (Tayleigh, Dumbgay, Jimmy, Delaney) Brianbuddies (Brian, Trish, TJ, Abi, Taylor, Oliver, Shinji) though not everyone was in these factions at the beginning and there was no overlap between Abi and Brian, Shinji was forced into Brian Buddies the last few days to enforce the complete house dogpile against Tay.

James Drake and Laura go into the goo factory and James Drake grabs a pile of goo and starts throwing it out the window for no reason.
The $50k prize is now a little lighter, they just don't know it yet...

There's a chance for them to make this bit actually funny by Drake proposing the bootleg goo he's making is the superior product but I doubt any of these retards will realise that a Goo-based gang war is a good narrative.

do you guys think it's possible that there are hidden messages in and outside of the show to serve some sort of plot?

also, if this means anything to anyone here, I would like some additional clues:

GUN HAZARD
ALBERT -> ARTHUR
BURT -> THOR
"CAST TED" -> CAST TED K
"PRODUCER'S MINTS" -> PRODUCTION'S CLUES

1000 goo, at 50$ a piece?
Sounds about right.

He saw where it was going very quickly and was moping as he mulled over if it was worth suffering the dog pile sponsored by production. Cole himself said they were using him as the Jon of season 2 and would try to wear him down for content then laugh at him when he broke and that it was lazy.

Bashir is similar in that he's aware of the meta going on. Production tends to endorse dogpiles one after the other.
Simmons, Jon, Sylvia...
Cole, Jimmy, Tayleigh...
Simbal, Mizzy (?), Burt...
Jin, Daniel...
Vicky, JD, Bashir...

There's always a default target for their ire.

Mints seemed to be having a meltdown this morning

Was last night the 3rd or 4th door he broke (he was the nigga touching it when it broke off I don't give a fuck who did most of the damage), right? Imagine if he wins and then the wiggers charge him hotel style for all the doors he broke at 10k a pop.

Direnc and Freddy deserved a good season for sure. The rest of those people were so disposable it's unbelievable. Daniel in particular makes me laugh because Landon is just Daniel but better in every way.

Reminds me I've been meaning to ask if anyone has the Seth lore. I've never followed contestants or anything between seasons, but from my understanding based on this thread Seth is a complete mess. What happened to him?
I could be fully wrong but from my understanding of Seth:

He latched onto Angie
Got rejected repeatedly
Kept having breakdowns
And last i saw of him he was wearing women’s clothes on stream lol

I honestly doubt that, they were pretty involved in the Cult narrative the first week and it was clear Cole was going to be the detective character to uncover the cult shit in the attic. He was an insecure loser and everything he did post-tank was proof of that. Just another case of a guy who can't roll with the punches. Nothing compared to the dogpiling in this season when you really look at it.

Jon didn't get "worn down" - he flipped out over one challenge, hid in his room, and started sulking when TTS called him gay. Of course it's going to spiral after that, it was completely self-inflicted. Sylvia was the same in that she tried really hard to apply pressure to Letty and it blew up in her face and she crashed out. Exact same story arc as Vicky, which is funny considering they were both obese alcoholics.

What I'm trying to get at is a lot of these 'dog piles' happen organically because they act like losers and the audience catches on. Bashir is definitely the most production-forced one with Mints sending him retarded TTS, but the dude's ability to generate Ls from Ws by himself hasn't helped him either. Sure they dogpiled Simbal, but he didn't help himself being a generic weird touchy Indian who was full of himself. The dogpile almost always comes after a fish does something retarded, not before.

Could be wrong but i think the reason he did that is those ones were labeled "Bashir"
Im not sure if production told them to or not, but the fish have been labeling the ones they make with their names in case it matters who makes the most later on.
Drake was telling Bongo to put her name on the ones they were making in the kitchen earlier this morning.

The Goo Dream Team is back together with their new lab intern Bongo H. Mustard

Edit: Also Dumbgay is threatening to give Laura the Trish treatment but worse. Please you gray alien looking faggot. Turn that bitch into powder.

Losing the market/Job gimmick really has hurt the show overall imo. I hope it's back next season because It's got a lot of potential, especially once you've worked out the kinks.
I agree. The Market is a great bit, and it's a shame they abandoned it. In the future they should let the fish make their own products to sell on commission in the Market, and special order supplies to make more products at the Market. Or special-order whatever they want if they have enough money. Capitalism-tank.

They should also have the fish design fishtank T-shirts for the store, then sell the designs to us online, which would require a 3rd party print and ship dropshipper. Someone could also rip kino stills and memes from the season and put designs up almost instantly for sale. If not a single person buys a particular slapdash design, it's ok, because the only lost money is the designer's time. And if one of the slapdash designs should take off and sell like hotcakes, that's a huge win for like 3 minutes work because designing T-shirts is easy af.

I do NOT remember it happening this way. The detective stuff, yes, but the cult stuff didnt even get hinted at until almost week 3. Hell they didnt even have the attic finished until late week 2 and that was all a last minute scramble.

To be fair they didnt abandon it, it just got raided

They were teasing it from week one with the "broadcast hijacks", it was clearly a slow burn that was meant to be incorporated into the characters they were building the Fish up to be.

That would also be a funny as fuck reason to not give James Drake the money if he wins. He was the one who raided the market, take it out of his winnings along with the doors.

Them not giving the twins a job to draw each contestant and sell them as stickers or something is another missed opportunity.
