I believe goo wrestling was always the final challenge, problem comes down to the fact they never said the max challenges/point goal so they could end it at their convenience and the fact they altered how the twins work in a way that made them lose several points.
If the original idea was the first person to get to 20 (or 19 lol) twins would have won.

If they were fixing for Bash vs Drake I suspect the goo wrestling would have happened there and not the finale to make sure Drake made final two. This was always gonna happen this way I think.
