Nolan actually did some damage to his parents though. Then again, he's presumably stronger than they ever were by now.
Nolan started training almost from crib so of course. Mark's powers didnt manifest until later so he was allowed to live a normal-ish relaxed live until then. Nolan was only able to show him a bit of the ropes before having to drop the hero act.
So yeah, young Nolan easily surpasses Mark.
The difference between this and the Omniman vs Invincible season 1 finale is astonishing. Why does this fucking show have such bad animation? It looks like a cutscene in a flash game on newgrounds.
I do watch the show, and I generally like it for the most part, but the compositing and the animation is just so lackluster. Even just a bit better compositing, slightly better fighting choreography, or hell just a teensy bit of fluidity in the frames and I’d be a happy camper. Please Amazon.
The worst part is that fans are getting scenes and doing touch ups to the animation for free, to show Amazon that this could easily be improved and they did it in their spare time.
Slave labor. Or lack of it since they've said they're not using that North Korean studio anymore.
I dunno, man. I've given up on the show having some parts better than the comics at this point. Even looking back on season 1, shit was way too melodramatic. It's just so obvious now because they're dragging the hell out of Nolan's redemption arc and having an "emotional" ten minute scene every episode.
The comic has better visuals than the actual most visual medium's version now.
why am i saying now?
the comic always looked better
yes, even the scratchy dot eyes cheap beginning art
“Comics are for kids” niggas being like.
I'm confident the reason for that is Kirkman figured they just never needed anything beyond that so they never advanced their tech in those directions, but never considered that would mean they wouldn't have useful tech to give to their slave races because he's an idiot.
Kirkmann’s idea for the viltrumites was basically “what if krypton didn’t blow up? So we have a lot of kryptonians very much aware that some yellow solar energy exposure turns them into space demigods.”
Problem is that he didn’t truly explored the idea and possibly got some cold feet by having the scourge plague being their “krypton exploding” equivalent, so there are a couple left now. He just basically said they all become space conquerors and that’s it for the most part. I guess it stands to his rather nihilistic worldviews.
Unless this is some epic AI fakeout, I have some very bad news
we all knew it was going to look like shit but this is a new low
This is a reminder why most matches in space look like poopie at their very base idea, it is hard to sell the sense of impact when there is no gravity or points of reference.
Shit like this is why DBZ knew better than to make any fights set in the vacuum of space.
Oh yeah, the animation gets unironically worse and I legit can’t understand why. It couldn’t be a budget or time thing, they have that a plenty.
that was easily the dumbest thing he's ever written
it should be dead and forgotten
He wrote the Whisperers act from TWD, so that’s a contender too.
