Season 4: Direnc and Freddy are alright, the rest should be completely disregarded. Especially scrotum scalp, that fucking disgusting freak.
Season 5: Ban Bezo, everyone else is fair game. It was a good cast. Preferably Twins and Bash should make a retvrn.

• Theme? Medieval fantasy focus or scattershot nonsense like BG1?

Scattershot nonsense was great. For a set theme you actually have to force the fish to play by it and it'd be worse in terms of content.

Sam, but it's very unlikely he'll come back. Ever. Xavier is must-have.

• Fully outdoors, split between indoors and outdoors, or fully indoors at a warehouse?

I'd prefer full outdoors like the last Bloodgames. However, it comes with the caveat of outdoor streaming. Production is probably more prepared than last time (I know, )

• More serious LARP than last time, or less serious?

Equal to BG1, a less serious and more fun approach is the best.

• More focus on RPG mechanics, or less?

Dice rolls could lead to chimpouts, but it could interfere with the flow. It's a double-edged sword. The life-bands are mandatory, healing should be allowed but not overpowered.

• Sequel or prequel? Immediate or distant?
• Should audience participation matter more?
• Weapon balancing? New weapons? Should guns return?

Don't care. As long no one is injured or the show is fucked with, it's gonna be good.

• What shouldn't change? What should change?

On the technical side: The connectivity issues were pretty bad sometimes. Everything else is fine.

• Should food be earned through quests or money? Or given by default like last time?

Regular food should be given by default, nice things like snacks/early booze (and maybe plot armor) should be gained through quests/bought with money.

• How much hassling of contestants?

A little hassling has to be there, it's still FT after all.

• Camera placements? What do we think about the chest cams?

Were great, but not executed well in the first BG. Everything should be tested thoroughly before the show starts.

Also get them to stop hating KF, we're not all dox-happy freaks masturbating over the downfalls of autists, particularly in this thread.

I don't like it either, but you have to deal with it. As sad as it is, it is what it is. The S5 ending chimpout didn't do us any favors, either. Guilty as charged btw

Thinking about the season has made me reevaluate the importance of casting and how it’s inherently connected to the type of show you want.

If it’s rigged that lets you cast with assumed entertainment value as the main factor. If it’s to be a fair competition you need to either cast fish of similar gender, with physical and mental capabilities that are somewhat even or make every single challenge non-physical. Both approaches have their advantages, and disadvantages. My preference is perhaps something more akin to a retarded version of a frat house + jackass, but that doesn’t leave any room for female contestants. Not in terms of having a fair shot at winning.

I don’t know what the best balance is, but it does annoy me on some level that you can put people through so much shit and then not give them a fair shot at getting paid. Perhaps giving monetary prizes for finishing top 2/3 needs to be a recurring theme. “ We fucked you because it didn’t fit the narrative/ wiggers too lazy, here’s a stack of cash to fuck off and be somewhat content”

Spoiler: Bloodgames Drake x Twins idea

Cast Drake as a dragon with Bingo and Bongo as his two demonic half-dragon spawns. The cast gets a physical challenge from the dragon with a monetary reward. This is then followed by a “secret” quest where the two hellspawn conspire with contestants to defeat the dragon and steal his loot. It ends with Drake receiving a salvo of paintballs followed by the contestants holding him down in mud while Bingo and Bongo choke him out. I think they can make it funny, and act as a fun payback to the dark ending we got this season.

For people who didn't see BG1, one of the funniest moments was the few hours they made Jon a 'moderator' and he kept rule checking Jimmy until he crashed out. Exactly like a DarkRP server. The trick to BG1 working so well was this sort of approach. People would get penalised for 'RP fails' and get temp bans.

BG1 also played an interesting part in exposing how much better the S1 fish were to S2, which was a big reality check for a lot of people who thought S2 was the best thing ever heading into it. A lot of the show became a Jon/Letty vs Jimmy/Tay internal conflict, which only Letty ended up looking good from. Doing S3 vs S5 fish would be good in this regard too.

I think our fatigue with Indians was what made her so funny. Her accent alone added to the stress of the tank. Anyone who's ever had to call the support line of a billion dollar company immediately recoils at the sound of a slightly garbled Indian barking questions through a phone. I honestly just found her to be very sweet. I am as jeet fatigued as any other person in tech, but she as an individual was sweet and endearing and her chubby bespeckled face on the jeetbot screen was also extremely funny to me.

I loved Antara. I hope she is back for season whatever. If they can somehow ruggedize the jeetbot and have her on Bloodgames 2 I will be so happy.
