nobody tell him how many scientists and engineers throughout the years have been religious.
I'm not religious, but this weird belief that science and a higher power can't exist never sat right
Science and religion are not mutually exclusive, I will never understand this argument.
There is a thing that is unfathomable for the leftoid/r*dditor mind and that is the fact that due to the fall of the Roman Empire large amounts of knowledge were lost and destroyed and it was up to the Church to preserve said knowledge since they were the only ones with the capacity to do so. Later on this evolved into applied sciences like Mendel (a monk) discovering the basis for genetics or more fundamentalist christians like Newton discovering gravity. And let's not forget about the field of philosophy.

But for leftoids the church and religion rely always on keeping people uneducated, dumb and dirty and they cannot be part of anything good. Even less in regards to science. It is this weird exclusionary belief that makes their train of thought deny history and delve into deep retarded theories
You can just argue that science explains the design of our universe as God created it and all their dipshit arguments go out the window.
In fact people in the old days believed in this concept: Science was the way to explain why God has made things the way they are. The concept of Deus Ex Machina (God in the machine) was created as he was the architect of a great and complex system that was our world.
We start this intellectual debate with shaming OP for liking community volunteers over professional campaign staffers who have no connection to the community... because leftism is mostly about being an autistic cabal of pseudo-academic disconnected elites telling proles what to do
Leftoids have divorced themselves from the struggles of the working class since WWII. They still wear that banner and if you dare call them out they will go into unhinged rants to justify their behaviour in regards to workers and still say that they are fighting for them.

Don't expect them to understand that professional leftoids are cold, distant and absolutely insufferable people with no connection and care for anything or anyone but themselves or people that can benefit them. They are people that live for that, much like politicians.

I wonder to what extent atheism crosses over into urbanism...

Our ancestors spent a lot of time staring up at the sky wondering about what those stars meant, especially the moving ones.
Our whole notion of the calendar and the division of the day into hours, minutes and seconds is derived from priests who spent too much time looking up. Certainly Catholic and Roman and Greek and Egyptian and Babylonian, but depending on who you ask it predates Göbekli Tepe, and we don't even have a name for them.

Then some fat fucker waddles up with his greasy Fedora and tells you it's BCE, Acktually, because even though he's never seen daylight, he's enlightened.

I guess it's possible to stare up into the timeless infinity of the night sky and not be inspired. People do do weird shit.

But I wonder how many have tried...

Not only that. One of the things i remember someone said in order to help with depression or sadness overall is looking at the sky. It doesn't matter if it's boundless blue or dark with thin islands of light. The sky is wonderful and looking at it is soothing and inspiring. I can talk for myself only but i would tell a lot of people to look at the sky.

With relation to urbanism i remember the incident where there was a blackout in LA and when people saw the night sky they called the cops completely distressed. This compounds with an old R*ddit post of some retard saying that seeing more than a few stars in the sky was scary and anti natural. The fucking gall some dimwits have to say shit like that.

This is a very good thread from a month ago about bombing in front of Mamdani's home, and even redditors make fun of retards who don't read beyond the handline.

And there was a jewsperg on the thread so i went to his profile to confirm my suspicions, and yes, i was right! He was a fucking Moroccan. I think there's some truth to that "post hand" meme.

Somewhat recently there was something terrible that happened in my life and I have found walking around at night and looking up at the stars and planets is very soothing. I also like looking for satellites passing overhead and naming them.
Looking at the sky is one of man's God-given remedies to ease our suffering

Is there some truth to it? I started saying it as a joke but last two jewspergs i saw on reddit has been muslims. Anectodes are not that meaningful, of course.
In my experience it holds truth most of the time. You ask to post hands and they either get overdefensive about it saying it's bullshit or they post and your suspicions are confirmed

My favorite thing to say to these faggots is "I bet you look just like your little reddit guy in real life". Saw someone else use it in the wild yesterday ❤️

Their view of Christendom was cemented in 2008-2012 where they were doing le ebin takedowns of barely literate boomers by quoting the parts of the Testament where people were seconds away from a smiting and presenting that behavior as the moral teaching of the verse. Convincing them that they were illiterate faggots smarming at other illiterate faggots would collapse their egos.

It's a 30 year old troon's masturbatory creative writing, into the trash it goes.
I genuinely do not understand the progressive left's chronic simping for Islam.
It's antithetical to functioning society and mostly practiced by brown people. That's it. Any other particulars don't matter to them.

70% mostly brown people, 30% online atheists have a hateboner for Christianity and letting people acknowledge the Islam is significantly worse will make them less likely to spend their time shitting on Christianity.

They might even notice that Christianity has been sanitized and washed down so much that it's not really a threat at all, and then how will they feel persecuted but in a safe manner where they can lash out and never actually worry about someone hurting them?
