Those revised products need to be bought again by customers to experience said revision, whereas Early Access games only need to be bought once. This encourages a lot of scammy behavior on the part of the game developers, as they tend to focus more on keeping the money train rolling than ensuring that a complete, high-quality product releases. Really, if developers wanted to do things this way, they should just start pumping out sequels galore like their predecessors in the 80s, 90s, and 00s did.That's how feedback is supposed to work - you give out a product, and then when the clientel tells you what issues\positives it has, you redo it and re-ship the product. I don't know why a game can't be released like a supply line of designer clothes does, it's basiscs of business.
Not that it would fix anything, imo game devs these days are way too comfortable nickel-and-diming customers to stop if they suddenly no longer "needed" to.
