So will this end up like Bob's violin and sit for 7 days with no bids? Since Chris isn't accepting bids, can he take it down and relist it for a lower price once he gets impatient enough, or is that going to attract a suspension from Ebay? That is assuming some savvy art collector doesn't snatch it up for $1k.

He COULD... but it's Chris. Chances are he'll sit on it being a grand for five days, smug in thinking he's finally beaten the trolls. Day six he'll panic and tard rage on Facebook, using his mother as a pity tool to hopefully drum up interest for his shitty picture. Day seven will roll by, the auction will end, and either he'll put it up again, or call all of us damn slanderous liars or something and then start blaming people he hasn't so much as spoken to in over a decade.

I just wonder how long he's going to go on relisting this thing, how many iterations he'll take it through. Will it be weeks? Months?

You're giving Chris too much credit. He'll :briefs: and do nothing.

He thoroughly believes that those high bidders are "real". Don't ask him who they are if not trolls though, he'll just get pissed.
That's probably a lot of it; he wants to believe that at least some of those ridiculous bids weren't trolls, so that's what he believes. I think part of it, though, is he's trying to "punish the trolls" by demanding such ridiculous prices. Also he believes he's owed something for the stress and suffering of having to re-list the same drawing so many times.
Edit: Chris is now having his artwork straight up insulted in his facebook comments but doesn't even remove them.

So what happened is this. First time he listed it he "got" about 10,000+ dollars in "bids". Second time he got to about 13k or so. Third time he didn't have bids at all, he just had the Buy It Now (or BIN) for 10,000; then he lowered it to 5,000 with the ability to Make An Offer (or MAO). Lots of people (about 30 or so) made offers that were automatically denied because they were in the couple dollars range or weren't anywhere near what Chris thought he had earned. He then took the thousand dollar offer because he realized, after 30 some offers, that a thousand bucks was all he was going to get and with that money he could buy a LEGO set or two from his wish list. But, because it was a MOA bid, it didn't require PAYMENT NOW; it was an offer between buyer and seller. So it fell threw (of course). Chris has now relisted for the (second) "last time" at $1,000 BIN because someone offered it before, so obviously that's what he was promised. But now it's a BIN so anyone who wants to troll can't because it's a pay right now type of thing; Chris has even removed the ability to make offers (probably was told by his 'friends' that this was the way it needed to be).
TL;DR: Chris will get jack shit.

I think that on top of the bad environment, Chris really lost the genetic lottery. I think he would have been a very big handful for even good parents. In a normal environment, he'd probably have been put away in a mental hospital long ago. It's the happiest possible outcome for him now, and also a distant second behind homeless bum.

Chris has a shitty family agreed. But honestly, I'd kill for his metabolism. I have to work pretty hard just to get down to stay at 265. And I haven't gone a calendar year without working some kind of job and getting some form of semi regular exercise since I was 11.

May i join in on your prophecy?

Well, I'm glad! No $1,000 for Chrissy to spend on McD's, sports bras and Legos

Or dresses, kaka makeup, acrylic nails, bras, thongs, whips, chains, whistles, dildos, etc...

eBay intervening when

eBay has already intervened. They're the ones responsible for removing the listings right before the $1,000 was accepted. Once they notice the new listing they'll probably remove it again, and probably will end up suspending OPL for a number of reasons, be it copyright infringement, listing practices, trying to threaten eBay users into buying the piece of shit drawing. There is one thing we can all be certain of right now, there will be a tard rage post to Facebook once the 7 days past, or if eBay removes the listing. Dang dirty trolls at eBay, coming between a autistic manbaby and his greediness for money.
