That may be true, but student loans are a whole different thing; if Greer never pays, the government (we, null) do. The requirement for a pulse can likely be waived, too.What private lender would give Greer a loan? His credit score must be in the toilet after multiple evictions and having his car repossessed a few years ago. He's definitely got a maxed out card or two that he's only making minimum payments on. Sure student loans can't be discharged through bankruptcy under most circumstances, but Greer will never be able to repay the principle, much less the interest. Even for a predatory lender it's not worth the risk.
