You say it's not true that young women are being alienated by the right, and then go on to describe some pretty effective political strategies the left uses to capture young female voters, but the right can't do the same because (?????)
When young men don't vote because they feel disenfranchised, it's a social problem we must collectively solve, but when young women vote left because the right doesn't attempt to represent their values and interests, it's their fault for being too emotional. Brilliant rhetorical strategy, let's see how it pays off.
All I'm saying is if the right keeps losing elections where you live, and your response is "boooo women suck, stop voting how I don't like" then don't get mad when you keep losing.
That's a hot take I can't actually agree with tbh. We had a supposed right-wing government BEFORE the current one. If you ask normies in the street, they will agree that the right won bigly last time and didn't deliver on anything.
I'll tell you on that that what we had WASN'T right-wing, because one of those supposed right-wing parties is actually very intersectional prog, but voters here are dumb and refuse to actually look at how parties vote rather than just listening to what's said and promised in election booklets by said party.
The universities ARE ideologically captured here. You can barely get a job at a uni if you're not left-wing. The government officials are ALSO ideologically left-wing and are actively frustrating any changes right wing parties in power WOULD like to make. I have seen this shit happen first-hand where I'm at. So just going 'Well if the left can do it, so can the right' is short sighted from where I'm sitting.
Both boys and girls, men and women here ARE feeling disenfranchised; we keep getting less and less people that actually go and vote. Books have been written about this in my native language over the past few years. This isn't news. It's a country wide issue and NOT just centered on boys and men.
Girls and women however, ARE more likely to have gone to our ideologically captured universities, and every fucking time I have a conversation with left leaning people and asking them why they're voting for those prog parties, I get some sob story about how migrants are sad and the right wing parties are evil for not wanting to let in refugees.
The level of average voter in my country currently is: "Well, I voted on that one dude because he had a positive slogan" and "He has a nice smile". The rest is mainly ideology, of which the women mostly skew left. So yeah, I still don't think that you can apply your American situation and supplant it onto my country. That includes "it's only boys we focus on" and "the right can do what the left is doing".
I can write you a fucking essay on what I think the right here is doing absolutely retardedly, but ignoring women or chasing away girls is not that. We don't lobby on abortion bans here and all that crap unless you've got the super Christian parties (of which there is at least one). The others are generally for free choice, but as they're anti migration, or at least for stricter migration and not helping every brownoid, they're generally classified as fascist and racist and women dislike associating with that and THEN they go and vote left wing for that guy "with the nice smile" or "the guy with the positive slogan". I will spare you the rest of the politisperging essay on what the right fucks up.
I'm not, and it's not a matter of opinion is it, American leadership was called that because they took that position during the cold war. For a eurofag to whine about "american takes" while parroting their misogynist anti-suffrage propaganda is quite something.
Lmfao. I'm a woman and I'm very pro my own rights, thank you very much. But I can also see WHAT is going wrong in my own country. I've been lobbying for women's rights here for years at this point. Lecture me all you want, but I can tell you you're wrong about me.
