New Media Processor is Running

Make clicking this button open the video in a separate tab, please. :)
no. if you want that, get the url and paste it into the tab. or break your javascript like a fucking autistic ape.

like wtf is wrong with the player where you specifically need every video on the site to display as one gigantic fucking blob in a single click every time

Is the plan to eventually make this new player and encoder retroactively process/convert videos on older posts as well?
yes. it's slow going right now because I'm testing it and we've still only got 2 of the 3 cards in but when the third is in it will pick up speed. It does sometimes pick older videos.

When playback buffering can't keep up (Tor or DDOS, it still happens) I like to open it in a new tab so I can continue scrolling down the current page, and come back to it later.

And the download button doesn't actually download, it opens the video in the current tab for playable codecs, so you have to click back, which is never what I'm trying to do.

Weird, the Phantom Menace clip has audio when quoted, but not on the actual embed.
I saw this happen too, it's been edited away now though.

The interface looks like this on my Brave browser (but only for some videos). It doesn't disappear.

The audio is missing from a video I uploaded but the direct link works fine. (x264/AAC video encoded with handbrake)
EDIT: it's fixed now

Cool "stats for nerds" bitrate and signal strength icons in the bottom right. Bet everyone will want those removed.
Edit: Removed already.

it was from the video i looked at not the player

If you have feedback or issues please poost it here.

IDK when the extra buttons got added, but it's a bit fucked on this 9:16 video. If you don't go full screen, they take up 1/3 of the display space.
When I download it, the original file is 720x1280 so I don't think it's a resolution issue, it's maybe displayed too small in posts? The full screen button also has drifted off the video on the rigth

Brave Browser on Win 10 if that helps.

The volume slider appears in the top left corner of the screen for a moment when you hover over the icon, only happens one time per video, both Firefox and Brave.

ctrl+f5 to get the download context option
Is this really the shortcut to opening this context menu? Because for the entire time I've been using web browsers, CTRL + F5 has been the shortcut for doing that version of a refresh with F5 that ignores browser cache.
What Do F5 and Ctrl + F5 (or Shift + F5) Do in Google Chrome?
Both F5 and Ctrl + F5 (Shift + F5) are used to refresh or reload a webpage in Chrome. But they do different work. Here is a simple explanation:

F5 or Ctrl + R: to reload the current page in Google Chrome.
Ctrl + F5 (Shift + F5) or Ctrl + Shift + R: to reload the current page, ignoring cached content.
Moreover, you can use these shortcuts to reload the current page on most modern web browsers like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.
I have been pressing CTRL + F5 to open the menu so I can download videos but it does a refresh like I'm used to using it for. I am using Brave but I know that that shortcut applies to other browsers too.

Doing things like hovering over a video, playing a video or getting it into other states doesn't make a difference either.

Edit: Turns out that I'm a retard who did retarded things. It's in the normal context menu when right-clicking. One of my userscripts was messing it up. Disregard this post and carry on, good saars.
