Bob is an authoritarian, resulting from years of being bullied as a child. Like many regressives, he's using politics to work through personal issues. He has no original ideas, nor is he pragmatic or empathetic. He's not interested in solutions, he's interested in boosting his ego and trying to control others because he can't control himself. That's why he's fat and projects a divisive attitude.

He has a shallow understanding of the issues, about as shallow as your average Teatard who cries about Obama being a Muslim. He's not right about any particular issue, he just happens to be aware that there are more important issues than two queers kissing. If he put down the Twinkies and took a good look in the mirror, he'd realize there's a big difference between the two. In fact, most on the extreme left today could stand to do the same.

I thought part of the point of Twitter was brevity, to go along with its 140-character limit. I don't think he could have chosen a worse platform to post his incoherent political ramblings.

Not to mention that point about energy...does he think it's an easy and cost-efficient task to close all non-green energy plants and convert an entire country to using green energy? Green energy still isn't particularly efficient, and any company that relies on producing energy would struggle, under ideal conditions, to meet their daily energy demands with it.

Im reading his latest rant and just laughing to myself like, oh my god. What do you think Bob talks about on dates? Ive known people who wrere more politically minded, more hung up on it, and still less wordy and unhinged than he. Brevity is the soul of wit, just because you use big words and say a lot doesnt mean youre ssying anything profound at all. He just likes to hear himself talk.

God, I read that whole screed and immediately thought of a particular scene, so I searched the thread and realized someone already posted it in reference to another one of his rants back in December.

Oh, and one more thing...that poster and I shared a name: ME!

Ha he's like Dwight from The Office:

"They're making me out to be a Bond villain. I like to think of myself as a brilliant scientist who will stop at nothing to remake the world. Like…not Doctor Moreau, someone good...Doctor Frankenstein, Doctor Jekyll, not them...Doctor…"

I know people like to compare MovieBob to RLM in terms of how RLM actually know their shit about movies and that Bob's tastes are pedestrian, but I'd like to select a few choice tweets from RLM's Jay in particular to really seal the deal.

First off, in the wake of George Romero's death, Bob posted a crappy greenscreen of him standing next to him for some lame joke about his height. Jay on the other hand responded with this.

You get more of a sense that Romero was an inspiration to Jay and that his death impacted him as a cinephile. All Bob did was basically acknowledge his death.

"But Romero was more of a cult director," I hear you say, "Of course Bob wouldn't be all that affected from his death. He's only interested in mainstream movies"

Well true, but for all his sucking off the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, I highly doubt Bob knows this little factoid about his favorite superhero film.

goddamn it now im mourning george A romero all over again..

fucking hack fraud made me cry :(

If Bob seriously expects people to come to his side at this point, then that's just really sad.

"Obsolete people in useless states"

Blobbenfuhrer becomes more and more like the caricatured social darwinist villain in an 80s dystopia every fucking day

Growing up as a complete horror movie geek, I really relate to Jay and his point of view. He strikes me as one of those guys who's earnest, down-to-earth and whom you could shoot the shit with about anything for hours on end. With Bob, I could break his extremely fragile ego and get him to either be really salty or straight-up REEE in public by mildly disagreeing with him about a movie. (I'm reminded of him getting into a slapfight about Spectre a few weeks back where he said something to the effect of "You're entitled to your opinion. (you're still completely wrong, though.)".)

My ultimate question though to all of this is who are the exceptional individuals actually liking Bob's diabetic diatribes that he spews like diarrhea daily? Are they possibly more exceptional than Bob?

Valerian was mostly a let down, after the first five minutes let him spank it to the Soopeeriah Fyoocha. This is me being shocked. He also compares it to Rocky III of all movies.

And also, Bob still hates dark comics:

I'm sorry, is Bob "Murderfuck the Yokels" Chipman singing the praises of humanism?

He's also saying Guardians of the Galaxy is a prime example of humanism in science fiction. Which is weird because the characters in that movie are all shallow archetypes with little going for them beyond basic and understandable motivations.

What the fuck is this guy on? He calls Interstellar and Inception sterile technological pieces devoid of humanity but thinks Guardians is some touchy-feely piece on the human spirit?

Also it's super creepy he's weighing in on Mattel making dolls themed around WWE ring girls.

Don't get me wrong, both Guardians movies are a lot of fun. But they're not much more than space operas with amusing characters, more distinct artistically from the usual run of Marvel movies mostly because of their director. I'd love to hear his argument for this humanism nonsense, not least because it'd tell us what this galoot's definition of humanism actually is.
