I have to agree that it seems like a cop-out move. I'm holding hope out for the end, and I do hope I'm wrong... But you know, with the amount he left out about Disgrunted Jose and others, I'm on the fence.

Hey man, I'm with Jim on this one. There's only so many times "lol look at this stupid feminist" is fun or interesting and Lindsey isn't that much more special than your average lolcow feminist.

I can agree with the first part. But not the second and why would make it interesting. She's Tim Wise level crazy.

But not a big deal. Let's see the videos when they come out. My only reaction was it just felt like cop out from my perspective.

Legitimate question, what personality? I've only seen him in the skits and the movie reviews. The skits are awful and naturally don't show off personality since he's just playing rando characters, and the reviews I've seen he's allowed to speak maybe a couple of sentences, most of which are just agreeing or reiterating what Joe said. I noticed he does have a surprising amount of fans though, so was he more active in the past, or does he actually do things on the stream or something?

I think that Jim makes a good point in this being a major communications fuckup. As with any producer of khality khantent, in the end, Joe's success relies on pandering to his fanbase, not on his stuff being actually good. If he had done the sensible thing and pushed the sob story right from the start, his white knights would probably have had the upper hand in the ensuing battle.

That's one of the big things Jim got wrong with the video, Joe has been pushing his sob story for at least a year this point, probably longer. His first attempt at doing significantly less work was doing "quickies" instead of full on reviews, which were basically 10-15 minute vlog style reviews of games. Which honestly, people were alright with as far as I remember. I actually remember people proposed bringing those back when he was complaining about his schedule woes.

Joe's fans are pretty easy to appease. They just want Joe's opinions on video games. That's it. The problem is Joe is just done with doing video game reviews unless it is sponsored content or something. He'll only put out nonsponsored videos just to shut people up, and it's pretty clear that he's trying to work away from having to do those at all. He's trying to pivot into tv/movie/trailer reviews and basically become a glorified reacts channel because, in his own words, it takes no effort. Even his quickies videos take more effort because he actually has to play and complete a game, so he doesn't want to do those when he can just watch a movie or tv show.

It was a joke, he doesn't have a personality. He's like everyone's mexican friend in school who said "I know, eh?" all the time.

I figured I must have been missing something, given the weird popularity he has with the fanbase. Maybe it's just the exceptional individuals that like his appearances in the sketches or something, because that seems to be the only area's he does anything in at all.

Why even make the videos in the first place if the last one is supposed to be the "actual good one". (assuming it ever appears) And if he can't assed to even do them properly like the Joe one, then why is he even doing them?
