That total is going to sink to $800 by this time next month.

I hope it does. I hope it stays way below the goal for a few months so we can all see with certainty that his claims that he needs this money are complete lies.

I don't understand why he decided to move to Washington. It was obviously a fiscally irresponsible move. His condo in CT was fine, he just needed to clean it up a bit and get rid of all the crap he doesn't need.

I understand why he did it. He knew his income was going to decline and- as quickly as he could- he took out a loan knowing he couldn't pay it off. He committed fraud because he knew he wouldn't be able to qualify if he waited a few years.

This is why Patreon collective goals are dumb. Once you hit below a certain point people just cancel due to having no power anymore.

Also his perks are utter garbage.

He probably can't rent it out... Would cost more to hire a rental agent and a management company to manage the unit than he would receive in rent.

He needs to sell his place in Washington ASAP and move back to CT. That will right his ship a little.

He said something like this before, cant expect his parents to look after the property and he cant either since he's so far away.

Curious to know what his excuses are for not moving back to that condo in CT though, all of them before sans 'the seattle air has curative properties *snort*' revolved around him being with Leanna, too small for the two of them, too small for both of their business, etc. Edit: I recall him mentioning recently that he can't feasibly move back to CT because he has no money to move his stuff back.

It really makes no sense for him to live out in Washington away from his support circle (parents) now he's single again. He knows nobody out there.

I can only think he would believe in the eyes of his detractors and maybe parents (I doubt this since he's likely been asking them for help paying his bills for a while) that they would see his Seattle adventure as a complete failure and he would be admitting defeat by returning back to CT. Because that's a lot more pathetic than begging for cents in every stream.

Honestly, the week Leanna left him he should have put that Washington place on the market. That was months ago and he's been claiming (I think others here corroborated it?) that the house has gone up in value almost double since he bought it. He could likely cover all of his debt and live pretty well in that CT condo with his income. But he would rather put out videos begging for people to cover his bills every week instead and wait for his current financial burden to cripple him.

.

He's always held to "it's too expensive to move back to CT" when prodded, "the taxes are too expensive", etc etc. Saying it'd be like 9-10k to move all his garbage.

I did it twice in the past 6 months (coast to coast); Without paying movers it was about 500$, paying movers it was probably about 6k (for a 2story home, and having them pack and unpack a full 18 wheeler aka full lazy mode). It's not like he wouldn't have the funds if he offloaded the WA condo that he himself admitted he had equity in. He's just a pure-strain lazy asshole that wants things handed to him on a silver platter. With Washington state going fully 15/hr in 2020 the cost of living is going to skyrocket, moving to CT would be the SMART move since I would assume cost of living would probably be better if he lived in a suburban area (or literally anywhere that isnt hipsterville west coast)

Of course this is coming from the guy who decided to live somewhere where his internet runs at $400 a month.

Don't worry, I'm sure for every suggestion you have, DSP has an excuse. He has the ability to change his life and make it better, but he simply either doesn't want to or is unable to. Anything anyone ever suggests will simply be responded to with an excuse.

I agree that his best move is to sell the WA condo and move back to CT. But to Phil that goes against his narcissism and ego. Selling the WA condo means he's failed. And Phil doesnt fail dood. There was nothing he could do, its not his fault.

If Phil sold the WA condo, he could use the money from the sale to pay for his move back to CT, even with movers doing everything from packing to shipping. He could then pay off the loan on the CT condo and maybe improve it a bit. Likely could also pay off the car loan and his credit card bills. But his ego wont let him do this. That or he's not in as dire straits as he claims to be.

Phil wants to consolidate his credit card debt when he refinances his house in WA. Which could be a good idea. It depends how much credit card debt he has. This is the big mystery. Given that we know that he's spent thousand's of dollars on mobile games as recently as 2016, I imagine it could be quite hefty.

I bet he could sell the WA condo immediately if it was advertised as a furnished place for sale. You know what, fuck that. He could get renters immediately if he advertised it as a furnished place. It would be godlike money. $1500 for a furnished apartment with like 6 month leases.

In Renton? Yea, probably. The housing market is insane on the West coast/Seattle area (used to live in that area) and if he moved to CT and rented his WA place out he could be fucking rolling in money. But he's too short sighted/retarded to do that. Even unfurnished I bet you he could rent that plcae out for 1500 and steadily increase it per year until the inevitable housing bubble re-bursts. Seattle area is a goldmine

They're in the middle of a housing crisis/bubble, this is the perfect time to sell, even if it needs repairs and smells like arbys he could move that thing in an instant. I would be surprised if the sale wouldn't cover the cost of the CT condo as well.

The fact is he wants to stay in the Washington condo to refinance and just because he likes it. He feels he earned this house and car from his 10 years of "hard" work. He better hope while he waits a few years the Washington condo price doesn't drop. He kept the Connecticut condo because the price was rising and he wanted more money. He always wants more money. Now it seems he is betting the house, no pun intended, that in three years he can refinance and save his ass from all his debt not even thinking he has already done this dance with the Connecticut condo. He is a spoiled child that thinks if it is something he wants it will happen, which is why he is stuck with two condos today.

Two condos, no soap.

Dont know if anyone mentioned this here, dont remember reading it, but last night, he was bitching about Akuma and said thats why he is banned from tournaments. Then someone asked why he played with akuma againts Wong on a specific tournament...

DPS SAID SOMETHING LIKE THIS: "That Akuma was supposed to be the nerfed Akuma, and I picked it just to prove he is still OP" I shit you not, thats what he said basicly.

RE: Phil's Nazi chat.

Here's the thing I don't understand: how can anyone give a shit? Phil's stream interaction is borderline non-existent. Most other streamers make a concious effort to be a part of the conversation(s) taking part in their chat. Back and forth, memeing, banter, etc. Phil doesn't do any of that. The only time he ever seems to pay attention to his viewers is when he gets a donation or he's stuck in a game so he stalls while he waits for chat to give him the answer. It's like he approaches his chat as if he's overhearing them; paying attention some of the time but keeping his distance. He never gets involved. His pathetic excuse for commentary is the cherry on top. There's just nothing there.

Phil's whole setup is to blame, I think. Other streamers can glance at their chat without having to turn their head. They're sat a desk with a 2/3+ monitor setup. They just have to glance over. Phil has to turn his head (from having it turned right to look at his TV, to neutral forward, to left) and bend forward into his laggy old laptop. It's pathetic to watch. All this talk of his "office" and "business".... some other streamers could actually get away with speaking like that - their streaming setups do actually resemble offices in a way. Phil's "office" looks like an utterly unergonomic dust-filled manchild storage closet, complete with sweat-stained loveseat.

Even with a decent setup he'd still ignore them because he just plain doesn't give a shit about them. He makes no effort to engage his audience because the only person he cares about is himself. If you gave any decent streamer his chat then yeah, it'd still be a garbage dump, but they'd be able to turn it around easily. Hell, I could turn it around easily by following my answers to chat questions with "What do you guys think?" in order to stimulate discussion. Even if they continue trolling, at least there's more not-trolling than usual to offset it.

But nope, opinions start and end at Phil because he's the only one who matters.

You're talking about a guy who just financed a brand new mid-size sedan rather than get a used car for a fraction of the price. Phil wants his middle-class life on other people's dimes. He will keep his house as long as possible. Hell, He could probably get a room-mate in his home.
Question is, who would want to be his room-mate?

But if you ask anybody in the FGC they would say it was his actions that got him banned. I mean he did threaten people like Wong and Valle. Hell he even bitched out when he was cornnerd by FGC members that he threatened. Lets not forget him holding up tornaments just so he could setup and record his matches to upload onto his dead street fighter chanel.

If the rent's cheap enough, I don't see why someone would not.
We all know Phils mentality, he would want an outrageous ammount for rent and would want that person to cook his meals for him.
But then again thats just my opinion.

He really does have an answer for everything. Someone tweeted him about his shitty $3000 gaming pc and how that was a waste of money, this hurt DSP's ego and he justified the purchase by saying it's "the best purchase I've ever made. I stream on it every day." Okay then. $3000 streaming PC. I could build you one for $400 probably.

Yeah, selling the WA house is an admission of failure. He can no longer sustain his "Serious Adult House" (tm). Right now he's banking on the house going up and up in value forever, which is really weird because he went through one housing market crash already so he should see what's probably going to happen next...
