Phil decided what he thinks of Destiny 2 the moment he heard it existed. He knows it will be a game he is going to come up with some excuse to drop after a few streams, so he thinks it is a waste of HIS money. Just like when he tried to pull that shit with the computer on Patreon. He said the day before it would be a waste of his money to buy one, but if it is viewer money he is more then happy for you to spend it. It would not be surprising to see him try to milk this like he did For Honor and give it a shit review for click bait. The sad thing is he knows he will make that $60 back streaming it on Twitch which is why he will "bite the bullet" and buy it if nobody else does, but if he gets a fan to buy it he is up $60 he can piss away on mobile games.

In all seriousness though I only watch anywhere from half to two thirds because he doesn't talk for a fairly large amount of his streams. I listen to the audio while watching TV or YouTube with subtitles. If I hear him perk up at the sight of cold hard cash I enter the number into a spreadsheet.

To be completely clear: it's not any of my business how much he's making. That being said I'm morbidly curious so I started tracking it.

It's too bad the people trying to troll Phil really suck at it and give themselves away too easily. It's kinda like a child who builds a model aircraft, but cannot wait for the glue to dry, so the child hangs up the model and it just falls to pieces.

Who knows? He claimed he financed his move using credit cards. Knowing Phil, he probably got his furniture at Rent-a-Center of all places too.

You can't really live off credit.

Credit cards have credit limits, and minimum payments. If you're living off them you're not going to last long. Loans have minimum payments and some type of collateral. If you're living off them you're not gonna last long. Creditworthiness decreases as you take out more and pay off less in credit cards and loans. If you're living off them... you get the picture. Either his financial issues are recent and he's living off credit and on borrowed time or he's lying.

Well yeah I know he has a limit its not like he has a black amex lol. But Im wondering if he is "living" off of it for this month, it's hard to tell with him with how much he lies.
 
I dont think he's "living off credit" Likely the games purchases are for the most part on the cards unless a large donation comes in and then it will come from the large donation. He keeps claiming "his bills" are being paid on his cards. This, I believe, is a lie. I think he considers purchasing every day 1 release as a digital copy as "his bills" When you take that into consideration, this is his panic over him claiming he cant pay his bills. He's panicing that he cant get the day 1 views. That seems to be the core of his business. It all surrounding getting day 1 views. While successful youtubers/streamers are successful playing older games, hell even some could be successful playing Huniepop today. But Phil is only successful when he is playing the absolute latest game.

If we think of him saying "I cant pay my bills" as "I cant get the day 1 games" a lot makes more sense. He's not paying his 2 mortgages, condo fees, taxes, the necessary to live bills off of credit. And youtube and twitch cover those. If just barely, they're still covered. His panic I believe is coming from not being able to play those day 1 games.

First off my initial response to this before I scrolled down was "DSP acts like a grandma lol, he's so old."

Second, it's 2:30 in the fucking morning and he's posting this shit on Twitter. "Any free time I get is late at night, I don't have time to garden." (I'm paraphrasing) was a quote from the stream I just listened to. Didn't think it was interesting enough to point out until I saw that he's just STARTING to watch some TV show at 2:30 AM.

Recently, we already had 3 w.eens attempting to "troll" Phil: 2 by sending him money ("troll" tips) and this last one who wanted to send him empty game cases.

Phil has already pointed out that the won't read troll tips, but thank for the money and calling the troll an idiot. You don't give this guy any money or you are nothing better than his fanboys. You fall for his manipulation that haters give him money because trolling him is so much fun.

Empty game cases is also a thing. I don't want him to get anything he could make the slightest use of, like money or game cases. He could use the game case to stash money, sweets or trading cards in it, or replace the cases with video games he still has so he can sell them better, or he can just put the case under something so it's not angled anymore. Or he gets the case, and throws it away, and your troll attempt is never mentioned again by him.
