Today I have... Thread.

Today I spent most of morning working on my warhammer armies on parade entry. Then I went out with the Mrs to John Lewis so she go grab some zips for a bag she is making.
 
Blew out the dust from all of my computers for the first time in about a year. I also moved a 4tb hard drive that I keep all my movies and TV shows on from my gaming PC to my file server.

I bought a new blender, since the I discovered that the one I've had for a year or two has stopped working. The new one blends well, but the lid doesn't seal (meaning that it can overflow while blending, even when shut) and it pours terribly (it literally has to be poured over the sink, otherwise I'll have to clean my floor/countertop/whatever).

On the bright side, I won't be scooping chunks of protein powder from the bottom of a cup or something once I get back in the gym again.
 
Told my supervisor off for months of bull shit, after her whining about having to work an icky too difficult nightshift. I also have a far better job lined up and in the bag.

This lady as rejected two months in advance requests off on a Saturday to participate in charity things benefitting local animal rescues and shelters, rejected a four months in advance request without paid time off to spend time with my wife who is away on business leave most of this year, again rejected a four months in advance nonpaid time off request for enough time to drive my ailing mother to Pigeon Ford and back in the Fall. Oh and she also slapped down my transfer requests as well as a request to switch to the day time, played favorites to the point of throwing me under the bus and routinely talked shit about my work effort after I drove hallway across the state to come in on my day off. She never rotated weekends like she should have, hired a lady full time before giving me the option but doesn't make her work 8 hours ever, and rolled her eyes when I called in to try to stay home with my still sick mother.

Watched a documentary and read some after-the-fact articles on the 9/11 jumpers and The Falling Man.

Feels bad, man, but I find it interesting the parallels the author interviewed drew between the Falling Man and the Unknown Soldiers in Arlington.
One symbolizing the whole that were lost, essentially.

Today I cooked dinner for me, my brother, and my best friend. I grilled up some bacon cheeseburgers using fresh ground beef, turkey bacon, cheddar cheese. and store brand hamburger buns.

I served it with Lays potato chips, specifically Sour Cream & Onion and Sour Cream & Cheddar, as a side and for drinks, we had Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Jameson.

Overall, it turned out good and everyone liked it. I need to learn how to cook more dishes and see if I have a talent for it or not.
