Yeah, there's been multiple instances of quiet streams where Phil makes no money because no one made obvious gout/LeannaBBC/debt comments. Phil's paypigs need a dragon- if it's not SoK, it's the idiot that gives a 10 bit cheer saying 'Snort' so they can toss Phil $10 to spite that one guy. And then Vidar donates $20 a few moments later, to keep his crown. Phil may never pay off his debt, but don't line the coffers if you can help it.

Shouldn't we consider getting a DSP Cult tag, just like the TGWTG tag for cows?
So many lolcows popping out of the Cult of Phil recently.
Anyone got any good ideas for a tag name for this?

Let me present a counter argument: his parents. We know they give him money every year. I'm sure if DSP just cried to them for like half an hour, they'd give him enough money to move out back to CT.

His cousin / basically foster sister is now the chosen child and has a tragic back story she's apparently managed to overcome so at the very least he's got competition for his parents money.
And the ideas been floated that he may have pissed them off over his treatment of Leanna who was apparently popular with them

When he bought the house im sure he showed the banks his 2011/2012 income so they were like "cool you make 100k a year." If they reasessed his income now im sure it would be much lower. He still makes plenty of money tho from patreon and twitch.

Tbe reason his CT condo is so much trouble is because he bought with an FHA loan so he can't sell it.

Its going to be amusing here in a few hours.
What makes me think that the house is more at risk than perhaps even Phil thinks
1. Furnace cleaning. His.. furnace needs cleaning? Now perhaps this is in response to the alarm company and them saying "hey you probably should change your furnace filter more than once every 3 years" (does this guy do ANY basic maintenance on his house?) But it could also be in preparation to sell the house.
2. All of his doom and gloom talks have been about him losing his house and there's nothing he can do. Lending credence to SoapQueen's theory of a rate inflation putting the house out of his financial reach (it would have to be a serious increase to make him say its an unreachable point and that money cant fix things)
3. Powerwashing the driveway. Still sticks in my head, why is a slob all of a sudden powerwashing the driveway?


He'll probably come home, do an emergency vlahg, and then drown his sorrows in Arby's and gin. If the situation is solvable with money, he'll stream tonight. If its getting kicked out due to something money cant fix, he wont stream tonight.

He likely is unable to sell it, it's in a dead area, he has made some lackluster attempts at selling it but when he couldnt sell it within a month he quit trying. (it's also sunk in value by like 60k I think).

I wonder if he'd win if he were shed on the grounds that certain money he's received was conditional gifts. For example he clearly received a ton of money after the copyright strikes this Summer then immediately the strikes went away and he went on a vacation. Afterwards when pressed for refunds or explanations of where the money went he violently exclaimed " nah BILLS!"

I wish someone has been exceptional enough to start a class action. That would have been a phenomenal saga to follow.

Thing is he hasn't gotten any surge of money, either way. At least that vacation scare was a little tangible since the strikes happened, but him being vague about the worry isn't convincing fans. If he's lying, he got nothing from ringing the bells. If he's actually in danger, people are either spent or people are letting Phil deal with the wolf.

That's exactly correct. If I was in a situation where the truthful possibility of losing my house is escaping my lips, the last thing I'm considering is taking time away from earning as much income as possible. DSP has also stated over and over how YouTube is dead and he's earning essentially nothing on that platform anymore, so his placing emphasis on storing up a backlog of videos to upload to YouTube while he's on vacation is highly baffling.
In short, he always makes the wrong decisions no matter the situation.
