Fallout series

I never actually finished FO4. Is it worth going back to replay it?
Honestly I didn't complete any ending either and it was the first time in a Fallout game that I didn't.

I don't think the game is bad, but I think the ending in this instance was anti-climatic.

I think it's worth a replay if you're going to get all of the DLC, Far Harbour in particular.

I just spent the last couple of minutes rushing around in circles, randomly firing my plasma rifle upwards and shouting "SCIENCE!" when I pull the trigger.

I think I may be getting bored.

Finishing the game is worse than just stalling before the Battle of Bunker Hill forever. Once you finish the game, most factions are locked out or killed. Danse has left the Brotherhood if you sided with the BoS. There is an actual cut ending where you can finish the game as the Minutemen, but then go to the BoS and have them promote you to Sentinel for using the Minutemen as cannonfodder against the institute. There's only a small amount of extra content that happens after the end of the game, but they only consist of a few encounters. And finishing the game with the Institute doesn't open up anything new.

Has anyone else experienced 4 transitioning to a black screen and refusing to load after the initial "Please stand by" message? Because mine's just done it and it's pissing me off. Worse, I'm on Xbox so there's no quick way to solve it.

There is a 99 dollar GOTY edition of F4

WHO ASKED FOR THIS LOL

I tend to play Fallout games in a way I'd handle the situation in the real world. More of a wasteland survivalist / hunter type.

The only logical ending to me was the Brotherhood of Steel.

Sure they're kind of facist, but they have the strength to bring some sort of safety and order to the wasteland which is something the Minutemen could never do. The Institute is just what would happen if you sided with Berkley Bros.

The Creation Club is out now, and it's a disappointment so far.

Yep. I've recently installed Unoctium's Hellfire Power Armor shortly before this Creation Club microtransaction BS was even released. For free.

Without 'play money'.

CROSS_Cybernetics is just one, albeit very content-dense mod that outweighs anything Creation Club rips off er I mean... "offers"... They're selling quarter-mods that are already available in whole packages without points/tardbux. When you take DarkSydePhil's advice in giveaways unironically.

Yeah, they could've handled this thing a lot better. For instance, they could've bundled together things like the Pip-Boy skins or weapons in packages so that it reduces clutter and has a better value. The pricing model is also flawed, why should players have to spend at least $8 to get some points?

I'm not going to write the entire thing off yet, but as far as first impressions go, this leaves much to be desired.

Here's the creation club files, lads. It's missing a camo for the pipboy and Elianora's furniture pack but the rest is there. Change the filetype from .esl to .esp and it'll work as a standard mod.

EDIT: Actually they apparently included them all with the new update, so if you dig around you might be able to find them around in your computer.

This recent fiasco with the Creation Club that just got shoved down our throats makes want to ask Bethseda if they forgot their own business model.

Since Morrowind, their business model was to release a basic game, maybe a few expansions, then let modders fill in the blanks.

And usually, the expansions added things that were useful for further modding.

Whenever they tried to supplant their own modders, they've always gotten humiliated for it, like with the laughable Horse Armor from Oblivion, and up until now, I thought they realized that.

So the GOTY edition for Fallout 4 came out on Steam today and instead of a $60 edition with the base game and all dlc like New Vegas and Skyrim they want you to pay $30 for the base game and $50 to download the bundled DLC.

What the fuck is this kikery?

We need a Jewish Content rating goddammit

That's fucking insane though. It doesn't sound much cheaper than just getting the normal version with DLC.

The only way you can get me to pay for a mod is for something like The Capitol Wasteland and Fallout: Cascadia which is essentially a fan-made equivalent to Fallout: New Vegas, just set in Seattle Washington.
