How did he take that picture and say "wow that looks really appetizing, I'm gonna post that to Instagram and then eat it".

It looks like he tried to invent an edible fleshlight or something.

I think he kind of knew that he looked a bit dopey in it, but was just in the spirit of Halloween and was having fun with it. He seems to actually be kinda smiling in one of the pics too.

And so, the Discord/TKOH implosion reverberates:

It's actually quite astounding to me that someone might start disliking DSP and his fanbase for a reason other than DSP himself.

His mods and more dedicated fans are actually adapting his personality and language (you can see it in the locked thread) where if they could possibly be at fault you're suddenly an idiotic moronic dumb kid who dosent understand anything. It's fascinating to watch tbh. It's like a cult where the longer you stay in the less you understand reality and the less you're willing to admit wrongdoing.

@FinalGoutdown Haven't followed that discord thing too closely but I assume BVS wants to be top dog mod there & enforce rules as similar to Twitch chat as possible. Would I be correct in that assumption?

Yeah, that's the same impression I get from it. BSV sees the fan Discord to be poorly managed, modded by those less qualified than himself, who don't know detractor from a True Fan.

BSV is the definition of anti-fun.

I think a great example of their mentality was the dead brother thing. If you've seen the chat logs you'll know what I'm talking about. When the guy mentions his dead brother the chat says stuff like "My condolences" and "That sucks Wardog" and "How did he die?" and "How old was he? Damn, that young!? That really sucks!" and "I hope you're doing well." then the second master Phil shows his disapproval the entire chat turns on him. They start calling him a liar and a piece of shit and just the chat bombards him with insults and accusations. It was like an instant turn.

It reminded me of stories I've heard of Scientology where David Miscaviage would declare members who piss him off as a "supressive person" and the rest of the Scientologists, even their friends and family are meant to just turn on the person and they do, they'll scream at the supressive person all at once in a gang and even hit them until they admit their wrongdoings. It's that kind of mentality.

I noticed a change in his forums after Twitch too. Generally it used to just be people shitting on Phil, then Phil would sperg out and lock the thread. Now you have these devoted followers who would do the shitting for him. Before it used to just be KGhaleon until he found out senpai Phil hates him so it was all for nothing and he got outta there. Now there's a group that use DSP phrases before Phil's even looked ath the thread.

That's what makes the Discord such good lolcow material. I'd recommend that it have its own thread but it'll probably collapse in days. There's no need to troll it, drama just flows out on its own. The issue going around concerning it is that the Phil fan community used to use his Twitch chat as their place of discussion even if streams aren't going on. That means the mods that bought themselves into power could pretty much control what was happening and continue their power trip. Now, once DSP streams are ending, people are heading over to the discord to chat. Since Phil wants nothing to do with Discord, the mods that paid themselves off into power in the Twitch chat can't do the same on the Discord, meaning they now have less influence in the community. This is pissing them off, and so they're sperging out over the discord that they're not getting mod status, and these random people are, since the fans who bought themselves power think they're "more worthy" fans. And now some people are even using the discord during streams where the money mods can't control and filter the chat because they have no power in the discord. So now they're trying to take it down by telling Papa Phil and calling the people in the discord "Detractors" because that's like their version of "Suppresive person" in an attempt to scare them into stop using it.

I'm sure there's some psychology test shit going on concerning communities and power roles but I have no idea. All I know is that its a pretty toxic community and like 90% of the community all seem to hate each other.

Some of that happened, but mostly it was people shitting on DSP for the way he was behaving. He had at least one regular actually tell him in the chat to fuck himself; that regular hasn't been back since and no longer follows DSP.

So, to recap Phil's hot HOT Halloween "Marathon" stream:
1. Sucked ass at Call of Cthulhu
2. Sucked ass at Friday the 13th and was miserable playing it the entire time
3. Sucked ass at Manhunt and was miserable playing it almost the entire time, then rage quit

Oh and he did this all while wearing a Ezio costume he paid $70 for, to never wear again.

How did this NOT add to his depression..

I thought Call was delayed to next year? There a demo out or something?

Friday 13th really requires friends to play with. Look at the vids done by the Yogscast in comparison to see that game really shine.

Manhunt's a pretty old game with some old ass controls that can take a while to relearn, but this is DSP so I assume he just got bored.

No wonder Wankzio hated it all.

If you go and re-read the chat log you can see that wasn't the case. 1-3 people did attack WarDog after Phil threw a fit, but they weren't the one's originally talking to him. A majority of the chat were stunned by DSP's immaturity over WarDog's comment.
