A lot of people, myself included, have remarked on Bob's being unwittingly expendable if the people and policies he favors ever really came to power, but you make a good point. I half suspect many of the laws against "assault weapons" are like this because they always have these amazing loopholes, or simply prohibit some non-functional cosmetic feature.

What he is saying is as always incredibly ignorant towards film making in general but I will address it as if its actually a valid and intelligent claim, the problem with Joss Wheadon directing another Avengers movie is the fact every movie including The Avengers is using the same formula every time and even then The Avengers is a dumb popcorn flick that is pretty formulaic already, did u see the Justice League movie all the scenes that were obvious by Joss were pretty much carbon copies of a formula the same formula he made for Avengers

I wouldn't put it past pure incompetence for the most part. New York attempted to ban "muzzle breaks", because they didn't know what muzzle brakes were; if they did, they wouldn't care about them, because they don't have any effect on lethality.
