Containment Random Chris Updates

Does buying Chris' attention actually work for longer than the 5 minutes (or whatever) that you explicitly bought?
If I had to guess, you could become a "regular customer", with multiple paid requests, and befriend him that way, just like you'd befriend your local bodega owner or something..

Of course this is dumb for obvious reasons, but I could see a ween pulling it off, provided they have disposable income (It's not like it will take a million dollars).

That's a bit hard to explain, so bear with me..

Chris has no theory of mind, he doesn't understand the larger scheme that the trolls are trying to pull, and he clearly doesn't understand how (essentially) the same trick keeps working on him so many times despite all the measures he takes.

This is because fundamentally, Chris doesn't understand how much his autism contributes to his life problems, versus the contribution by his isolation and lack of actual life experience. He thinks that we have all found the perfect algorithm that helps you find life mates, and we're all hiding it from him. This also manifested in his then-constant pleas for "Date Ed" to become a thing.

So whenever he is trolled, let's say by Ivy, he learns to not trust a trollsona even if they talked to his parents on the phone beforehand. But that doesn't cover OKCupid for example (Catherine's initial 'in' was from there, IIRC), because he only learned how to prevent this particular permutation or this infiltration technique. So when the next trollsona comes along, Chris won't blink an eye, as long as she comes with a new "In", like Jessica did (Basically befriending him on FB for a long ass time, get him to trust, and catch him while he's desperate).

So kind of like a mutation of a virus. Chris will develop an immunity to that particular strain of the virus, but he won't develop an immunity to the virus itself.

Ask Watermelon. He's repeatedly thrown money at Chris, and Chris mostly treats him with open contempt or just ignores him.
I think Chris on some level realizes that Watermelon just wants attention through him. Sure, he trusts him with some anti-troll stuff (Billy's latest attempt to ask us questions comes to mind), but Chris always feels that he has the upper hand there, and he's not much wrong if you really think about it.

Plus, Watermelon paid him to include his dumb OC into the comics, which is something that Chris is guaranteed to hate.

Waterman openly admitted to being a troll though. He made a Facebook post claiming to be the new gatekeeper of Chris content and said we'd have to meet his demands for Chris to make more Facebook updates and videos. This was in November 2015, but I can't find a screenshot of it.

Seeing the timeline, this was after he was humiliated by @Alec Benson Leary.

Watermelon then tried to place himself as the Chris gatekeeper so he can save face (I think). Which pretty much tells you all you need to know about him IMO.

Personally, I think Chris only tolerates him for the money and because Anna vouched for him.

I would say the key is being a pretty girl who has a "pleasant interaction" with Chris
@Karen Riley got an in simply because she was a pretty girl (at least according to the picture she provided chris with) who commissioned a portrait and was complimentary of the end product (it really captured her lack of nose).
Chris was happy so threw in a free fan video for her and took an interest in her.
Whilst Karen never did anything further in terms of Chris interaction in return Chris followed her for sometime even calling her out for being "no angel".

So I guess the lesson is give Chris money, be civil and act like a human not some obvious sex starved trollsona.

So.... Did fatty just eat chicken nuggets this year while Snorlax had already consumed her banana hoard? What's the situation here goddamnit.
Uneventful TV dinners, "friends" who made themselves unavailable to Chris' hints about wanting to be invited to places because they had family in attendance.

:offtopic:Trust me, that "friendship" was doomed to fail much earlier than shecameforcwc.jpeg:offtopic:
The whole thing was a complete clusterfuck.

I think he would've had a shot, if he actually knew how to treat her with respect, was a contributing member of society, and kept his hands to himself. It's not like she wasn't some kind of weirdo herself.

Basically if Chris wasn't Chris.

I think it was the same with the Wallflower too.

And here was me thinking that Sailor Neptune was Chris's waifu. Hang on, wasn't someone speculating on here recently about how he'd have thought Sailor Jupiter would be more Chris's type?
