What's there to try? It's undisputed that Imagos owns this IP, that Alex doesn't, that he sent fraudulent DMCA notifications despite this, falsely claiming to own the property, and that he did this intentionally to harm Imagos.

I agree. I think Judge Schiller has reached the end of possible leniency for a pro se litigant (Am I using those terms correctly btw?). Because Alex has not used the previous leniency to build a case from a logical, if not legal standpoint.

Even Alex himself seems to exhibit a gradually growing realization that his life is gonna be fucked.

Anymore would just be a waste of Taxpayers's money.

Now if we can only get that deposition video.

He's a dipshit a-la Digital Homicide that Sid covered who created the game "Blood of Old." It was a fucking awful game that was covered by several who cover terrible shit Steam games, including SidAlpha, Jim Sterling, and many, many others. True to form, he threw an absolute shit-fit when he started to get negative feedback on his fucking awful game and responded by banning people who complained about it en masse, leading to the game being removed from Steam and his bans overturned.

SidAlpha may be kind of a prickly shit who sticks his nose into shit he probably shouldn't, but not even he deserved what happened next: Not only did captain dumbass threaten to sue Sid, but he went full Alex Mauer and launched a barrage of DMCAs against him, as well as claims that SidAlpha "harassed" him, and encouraged Alex Mauer to do the same. Geniuses that they are, they both have fucking printed copies of their DMs that they sent Sid posted in his fucking videos covering it. Both are fucking pissed, and it's absolutely hilarious.

Yeah, any time someone starts threatening to bring charges against someone for "harassment" I'd say they should look into competent legal counsel from someone who works in the field. It's one of those terms people (including Alex) use without necessarily knowing what the hell it means, legally.

Again, I find it strange how it seems SidAlpha wants to involve himself more in this situation with Alex instead of just ignoring him outside of necessary actions (i.e. responding to spurious legal claims). That seems to be the route that French took and it's certainly the best. But instead he's just trying to get closer to the drama.

I remember near the beginning of this mess he mentioned how scared he was for his daughter and worried that Alex had mentioned her in communications. But it's not like Alex went through any trouble to dox him, it's that he brings this kind of thing up in his videos all the time instead of, I dunno, avoiding mentioning his young daughter (with autism) on a public channel.

My guess is sensationalism. He acts like a wannabe investigative journalist in his videos and perhaps is looking for Jim Stirling-style fame of being targeted by unhinged game developers.

He actually does give a shit, Autistic as he is about it. He tries to give decent coverage. From my own analysis, it seems less like he's trying to milk e-drama and more that he's just trying to be informative and is fucking bad at it. To his credit, he's basically admitted to this a few times and even brought it up at length in a recent discussion he had, so there's that.

The funny part isn't Sid. The funny part is that we have a lesser Autistic Legion of Doom forming over a Youtube commentator that really didn't have that much reach at all, but presumably Watt thought that due to his smaller size, they could intimidate, and through that sheer, unadulterated hubris, they basically announced the idiocy they were gonna try in advance to him via DM.

Because that won't explode in their idiot faces at all.

In a way, SidAlpha is doing Lemnard a favor by distracting Alex and drawing his wrath. It gives French a little bit of peace while giving him lots of ammunition to establish that Alex is still a vindictive little shit and is continuing a crusade on YouTube.

Since French is ignoring Alex's baits, it's obvious Alex has moved onto easier targets, and Sid is doing that by reacting to him.
