At least in reality, if when Eli gets killed, the "cyber bullies" will get way less backlash then the "White, Racist, Gun Nut who manipulated his friend to his torture and death".

Jace has that magical combination of being racist while not being anti-jewish.

Are we sure he hasn't been bar-mitzvah'd? Even secretly? Or did Gail tell us that there were no jews in his home state?

>gun nut
>not battlefield-replica nut

Gail is a fundy Christian, so I doubt it.

The nearest way Jace is Jewish, is he's likely circumcised, and that's a cultural thing that America does for some reason.

I'm with A-N#1. This is a ruse of some sort. DD420 insisting its not a ruse just convinces me even more than this is a ruse.
Yeah, there is absolutely something fishy about all this. As more video comes out it's pretty clear he's definitely in Tel Aviv. Or he's a pro at video re-dubbing who somehow managed to find suitable random footage of the streets of Tel Aviv, and just how likely is that? But a few seconds here and there of shaky street footage wth idiotic commentary isn't any kind of hard proof of what he's actually doing over there.
Why would it go to his parents? Isn't a 20-year-old considered an adult?
Twenty year olds can't buy a beer. Or a handgun. And can be dependent on their parents liability insurance. And all sorts of other things that make them less than full and complete adults. It sucks, I know, but there it is.

Which is largely beside the point, because the state department would extract recompense from wherever they can get it.
I agree. This all is setting off my "too stupid to be real" alarm. I think he had a trip planned and is just using this to get a free xbone. I guess we'll wait and see but I predict he'll end up back in the states no worse for wear.
That's what I suspect. It's probable he's there for some unrelated reason (or possibly was there - have we seen anything establishing the time of this footage?), and is using the opportunity to :ruse:. I would think someone there for the sole purpose of "rescuing tupac" would release more constant footage; the gaps lead me to believe he has other thing to do with his time. I know he doesn't seem bright enough to pull off that sort of deception, but nobody this stupid IRL would have managed to get into Israel in the first place (because if someone that stupid were to able to slip through customs, well then we've all got bigger problems to worry about).

I would comment about the stupidity of putting this much effort into trolling Jace (or us or whoever), but it doesn't pay to underestimate weenery.
He may or may not have any money for food, and as yet, he has no way to leave.
He doesn't sound hungry and he is definitely getting water somehow. I don't care how much elite parkour once and future muhreen training he's had, nobody wanders the streets of Tel Aviv for four days in the middle of July without drinking anything. Which is another argument against the "idiot with no money or resources wandering the same ten blocks of Tel Aviv for days" story.

Still, those guys made actual money off of it. What does Jace earn with his videos? $300 in total maybe, nothing more.

He probably got some of Tyce's collection plate money.

As idiotic as they are, I don't think they're as conspicuous as you'd think. Most people don't have the benefit of knowing the backstory, so he's just some random dude. It may become obvious that he's of below average intelligence when he opens his mouth, but it's not like you immediately become suspicious of someone just because you perceive of them as a dumb fuck. Unless he's running around with weapons (fake or real), nobody's going to give him a second glance. And he almost certainly doesn't have those weapons, or he wouldn't have gotten through airport security in the first place.

I've heard it said that even Chris himself doesn't usually stand out that much when he's sighted in the wild. I mean if he's not doing something super blatantly ridiculous like holding an attraction sign or vandalizing xbox related things.

Anyways, my best guess is that he has some preexisting reason for the trip like visiting family.

I'm not talking about him walking around making an ass of himself. Doubtless the natives think he's just another dumbass american tourist kid babbling into his camera phone for the benefit of tumblr or facebook.

I'm talking about him getting into the country in the first place. Try telling an Israeli customs agent you're entering the country to assassinate the prime minister and rescue a long dead rapper and see how well that works for you. Meanwhile, nobody stupid enough to think that sort of scenario is real is somehow at the same time clever enough to invent an acceptable story for customs that wouldn't raise all sorts of warning flags. Last I recall Israel takes their border security a little more seriously than that.

Which adds to the :ruse: theory. It's likely Tyce said he was there to see relatives because he was.

I agree with CWCissey - I'm sure Eli has something better to do in Israel than do Jace's bidding, but is going along with Jace's bullshit to get a free Xbone. If he does believe Jace, he must be slightly aware of Jace's obvious exceptionalism - at least enough to take Jace's ideas with a pinch of salt. That'd hopefully make a difference when going through border control.
"What am I doing in Israel? Uuh seeing family bro" is a lot easier for someone (who isn't Jace) to say than "I'm here to rescue 2pac".

This is probably the most hilariously stupid world leader assassination plot I've ever heard of. A retarded stoner kid who plays video games flies to the Middle East to kill a prime minister and fight a group of internet trolls who he believes are gay Muslim terrorists based in the Middle East.

He's attempting this all because his other dumbass stoner friends will give him a free video game system if he pulls it off. This sounds like the plot of an over-the-top stoner comedy.

How far does a few hundred USD go in Israel? I'm trying to get a weal for how long till we get the "help jace I'm out if islams" tweet if he's rely on his own.

All these videos are within walking distance of the airport right? I think these were all recorded in one day and Eli is rely in another part of the country. Or at least across town.

The real question is if it's a false flag for gamerfood and he's near Gaza or for jace and he's with his uncle or something.

Google is telling me that 1 shekkel = 0.29 USD, and some quick searching shows that you can get a cheap-ish hotel room for around $70USD. Other things like food or whatever I don't know about, but that's going to be around $1000USD for 2 weeks of hotel living if he's doing it.

To me it's getting more and more obvious that Eli is trolling Jace.
Either Jace is getting ripped off or Eli makes Jace look sane when it comes to paranoid delusions. I mean gamer signs, really? I'd have expected a stoner to be at least somewhat familiar with inner-city grafiti.

Of course Eli could have filmed these all day 1 fresh off the plane and they're being used to throw off any tails into thinking he's still in Tel Aviv. Which would be clever and explain how inane they are (since it'd be pretty difficult to run round Tel Aviv for an hour and come back with enough footage to claim you've been legitimately investigating for days), however if this IS the case it begs the question of why they were being uploaded now rather than having Eli actually investigate and declassifying them after the mission.

Then again the best way to have protected the secrecy of the mission would have been for Jace to have never mentioned the plan and for Eli to have never set up a Twitter so he could vlog all the intel he gathered.

I guess there's no way yo tell until after Eli returns.
