I can say with certainty the person from he was complaining about is the programmer from tinyBuild there is evidence all over the place proving it, there is actually even more evidence than I've posted.
1. Yandere Simulator only started using version control when this programmer came on, and YandereDev specifically mentions merge conflicts in his posts.
2. The only programmer to work alongside YandereDev and improve his code is from tinyBuild.
When the first Unity 5 build was released,
@Zombie and I decompiled the code we were mocking the code for having such little changes and the improvements were stuff like "!foo", etc.
3. He states he didn't want the code to become foreign to him. Later on, I took another look at the code and saw
significant improvements to the code done by tinyBuild. This in the only way the code could of become foreign to him..
4. He doesn't like the programmer's personality. I've spoken to the programmer giving suggestions on how the code could possibly be improved. The programmer is blunt and focuses on getting the job done, and would be blunt towards YandereDev like most programmers.
5. He doesn't want the game to be rewritten. I spoke to programmer specifically about rewriting the code and he seemed really frustrated at not being able to do so. I wouldn't be surprised he was the one who suggested leaving the project.
Did EvaXephon actually fire tinyBuild?
Now, I'll be honest I skimmed the Patreon post. But after reading over it again he phrases it very specifically.
Since I know the programmer is from tinyBuild I decided to go do some calculations to see if it all fits.
The partnership with tinyBuild announced March 1st 2017, adding five months on to that gives August 2017.
But you have to remember that tinyBuild's programmer had to convert the code, so the partnership truly started when the Unity 5 build was released - July 9th 2017.
Adding five months on to that gives December 2017.
We can be even more specific as YandereDev
made a post on June 5th 2017.
Adding five months to June gives November 2017.
If we assume the partnership ended around November - December 2017, and take a look at his reddit post history.
The last posts I can find about tinyBuild were all two months ago - October 2017 (
this post, and
this one). He has since been actively ignoring all questions.
It fits perfectly, the partnership along with the only chance the game had is
dead.
Can't wait to see the old excuses come back - "im the only programmer working on the project".
