So is he saying that it'll take an additional 5-6 years? If so, he's done for. If Alex had recruited anyone who knew what they were doing, the game could have continued having meaningful updates and the hype would have continued. Now, his own ego has been his downfall.

The reason all of the other games he mentioned took so long was that they did everything the right way and didn't release a new, useless sandbox build with 'placeholders' twice a month. Instead they put their time and money into their projects and were massively successful. I'm sure if they had the funds for additional help and support, then they would have used it to either better the game, or brought up the release dates.

Also, archive everything because Alex has deleted/had other sites delete his footprint online: https://archive.is/GzTwg

I think he is actually talking about TinyBuild. If there was more than one extra programmer, he'd mention that, especially one that worked with the game for such a long time.
I think I can guess what happened:
  • TinyBuild, seeing the fat stacks of cash Alex is sitting on, uses its contacts to find an available freelance developer that is willing to work for Alex as a side project for extra money. They haven't have to spend a penny on that – this whole YS venture is risky as hell, better not to overspend. Maybe they found someone from Russia, to make things cheaper for Alex.
  • Because of Alex's overprotectiveness and lack of communication skills, the developer is tasked with more boring things, like Unity 5 port, performance improvements, save system etc.
  • The developer, seeing tons of small easily fixable issues with the code, fixes them as well.
  • Alex, being the ungrateful bastard he is, fires the programmer, because all the tiny fixes hurt his ego and the salary hurt his Jew feelings.
  • When it comes to summarising the programmer's contributions, Alex calls them "small number of meaningful improvements" to downplay how crucial they were and "go over my code" to show how much his ego was hurt and how attached he is to his spaghetti.
  • To avoid another MikeZ-like incident, Alex vows to never let any hater touch his code (and his money) again.
This, and the email incident from ages ago, show that Alex is incapable of teamwork. The most teamworky thing he can do is to treat other people as asset-producing machines. And don't they dare touching, criticising or improving DaddyDev's work!

Yes, EvaXephon is talking about the tinyBuild programmer. However he didn't fire him. He actually fucking did it, lmao.

This ignites my imagination with ideas for how to incorporate that kind of disturbing trait into an easter egg! Additionally, I already have a raincoat model for Yandere-chan; with a few adjustments, it can easily become Six’s trademark raincoat!

I have a feeling this easter egg only won because it requires the least amount of effort to make but that's just me.

8GM RAM... How does that not raise any flags for him? Or does it and he just doesn't bother fixing it?

Nah... that can't be it. That would mean the Dev is lazy or something, and we all know that's not the case at all..........

Just A reminder that an open world game like Breath Of The Wild Is 4gb ram (wii switch) 2gb(wii u)And Runs on a console way better than 8gb yansim which runs like crap on a well built pc

13.4 GB is space, not memory ram. Yanderesim isn't a 'big' game because the entire game is just a school and students, but it's so HILARIOUSLY unoptimized that Alex says you can have 8gb ram and the game can STILL crash. Unity is a good engine but all those else/if checks running at every second for every student routine and every particle onscreen makes a huge difference. He might also have multiple memory leaks there.

(For comparison, GTA V PC minimum requirements is 4 gb ram and i know many people who can play it fine with older pcs.)

sorry must have misread ram and memory gonna fix it. It is still pathetic that yansim runs this way

"The programmer made a small number of meaningful improvements to the game, but overall, the majority of the work he did was to go over my code and re-write it without actually improving the game's performance. For example, changing (foo == false) to (!foo). Busywork that had no actual impact on the game"
Yandev fails at intro to comp-sci tier shit and has to hire a programmer to fix it. Imagine my shock.

Do you think these people's eyes will open when Osana still isn't done by the time next year rolls around?
While I doubt they'll ditch Alex and start shit talking about him at Kiwifarms, at least some of them realized that this meme game will die because YouTubers are getting bored of it (because Alex keeps adding nothing of value to it).

It doesn't matter which happens. As long as they stop supporting a creepy pedophile and admitted sexual deviant, I think most people will be satisfied.
