The deviantart post got a lot of attention, if anyone can find a clear link between this zongovongo person and the HotelFruity DA that'd make the harassment story more legitimate. I wouldn't be surprised if it is legit though because of how rabid ass kissing fans of artists can be and the fact that Rory never bothers to censor names when posting screenshots to snark about other people.

According to this post the rorpie account was "run off tumblr" which means she probably deactivated it on her own after some big drama and came back under a new account. Someone asked Rory about the rorpie account about 3 years ago. Her response reinforces the possibility that she deactivated it herself due to drama and didn't care about someone else snatching up the name.

Looking up Rory's old url, I found some of her very early Adventure Time drawings from 2012:

About the user who came forward about attempting suicide after Rory send her fans to her,

She got better at art really quickly...and then got worse just as quickly. But I can see that her style has definitely been deliberately going away from anime styles, since that early art looks like it came out of a How to Draw Anime book.

I can see why Rory went so hard in the other direction from anime.

Ironically, these are more visually appealing than the stuff she's putting out now, even if it's much stiffer and less dynamic.

Maybe she'll improve because this shitstorm has crossed over to affecting her IRL relationships, but her MO when people start taking the piss out of her art is to just stop drawing whatever it was. She did it with bimbo trans men, and she'll probably do it with black people now. About the "k" in rorykcdart- pretty sure it stands for Katherine. It shouldn't surprise anyone here that Rory isn't her real name. Back when she was still Rorpie, I recall her mentioning her real name in a post. Unfortunately, I can't find it because this would have happened five or six years ago, but I'll keep looking.
