I had a theory of Tyce fucking over both Eli and Jace, but it rested on Eli already having a ticket to Israel - and Tyce being a criminal mastermind. *yawn* It went something like this:

1. Eli is going to Israel for whatever reason. Knowing Jace's obsession with terrorists, Tyce asks Eli to act like he is going on a mission for Jace, and in turn Tyce will talk Jace into buying him an XBone. Maybe they agree to split the profits too.
2. Tyce tricks Jace into giving him money so he can "buy" Eli a ticket to Israel. Instead he pockets the cash.
3. As time goes by, Eli starts begging Jace to send him more money so he can survive, or
3b. The Twitter feed is being operated by Tyce. Eli is only sending him footage which Tyce edits and uploads.
4. When Jace eventually catches on, Tyce is already gone with the money, and Eli is obviously not getting the XBone.

...but now that is just wishful thinking. I don't know what is going on.

When Tyce released the contents of Jace's hard drive one of the videos was called "I am God," but I think that's it. The video was of him during the hater-hitlist drug binge, which is probably one of the few times he's come close to going this insane.

Actually, it seemed Eli was on Jace's side because he appears in one of Jace's Civil War videos, particularly one where they hunt Tyce. But yeah, I believe Eli is more friends with Tyce than Jace.

Well now I'm starting to think Commander Stryker is god because this right here is divine intervention against Eli. Good Luck Eli if you make it out of there, I think you will have earned your Muh-reen (basically) status.

Honestly, I'm not too worried about Eli at the moment. He will get in trouble, sure. But he wont end up in Israeli prison or dead.

No he doesn't. He deserves exactly what he's getting now - which is the realization that trying to scam your friend out of an xbox one by pretending to be interested in his delusions can end with you stranded in a foreign country.

I don't think you guys realize what's been happening or Eli's motivation to go through with this trip.

Eli is not the brightest bulb in the shed, but he doesn't believe in the Tupac conspiracy, he doesn't believe in Gamerfood operatives or in any of Jace's imaginative enemies. He saw this #TycePlan as a way of getting a FREE 2 week vacation in a different country (it was completely bankrolled by Jace) and an Xbox One when he returns (Also paid by Jace). All he has to do is pretend to be looking for Al-Gamerfood terrorists.

This explains perfectly the videos he's put out. They are all completely lazy attempts at trying to trick Jace into thinking that Eli is doing investigative work. Do you guys really think the parking garage is a gamerfood hideout? Random Graffiti on the wall is Al-Gamerfood graffiti? Even Jace saw through the last attempt when Eli filmed the Gamerfood training camp (people playing night-volleyball).

I don't believe that all the videos were shot the same day. Eli has been doing what any dumb kid would do in a different country, and has been staying in his hostel room playing Runescape. He goes out once a day to take a brisk walk and goes right back inside.

Another thing, I'm seeing a lot of people writing that "ELI'S GONNA DIE OMGOMGOMG". No. Eli is not in any danger. He's homeless in Israel. That's no more dangerous than being homeless in your town, USA (plus he's not actually homeless since he's staying in a shelter). Israel is not a "war zone" - Gaza is the warzone and there's no way he's getting anywhere near it. I'm sure you've all seen Israel's border security.

Finally, if Eli ever really wants to go home he's going to get help either from his parents or the embassy (now that the idea has been put into his head).



edit: aaaand of course. right after I type this out Eli is on a bus with IDF soldiers. I still maintain he's never going to get to Gaza. His bus stops at Yavne where I'm sure he'll find another hostel to play Runescape in. He's doing the bus ride as a sign of good faith to get more hashish money from Jace.
