Yavne is only 1/3 of the way to Gaza FWIW.
Does anyone know of any actual homeless shelters in Tel Aviv?
According to Google Maps, the Yavne is 39.4 miles from the Gaza Strip.
There are several homeless shelters in Tel Aviv, all run by the same charitable organization (Gagon).
Gagon 1, at 6, Bergner St. Jaffa
-Gagon 2, at Mesilat Yesharim St.Tel- Aviv (serving as a shelter for homeless women).
Gagon 3, at 40 Ben Zvi St., Tel-Aviv
At the Shelters, each homeless person receives, without any payment, the following services: a clean bed, proper clothing, hot shower, regular meals, medical treatment, as well as rehabilitation therapy by a social worker, on behalf of the Tel-Aviv-Jaffa Municipality.
The length of stay in our shelters in not limited, our tenants can stay with us as long as necessary, until a permanent or better place of residence has been obtained or arranged for them.At the present, approximately 70 homeless people live at the Gagon Shelters, and many others receive all our services on an ambulatory basis.Gagon Shelters act in full cooperation with the Welfare Department
of the Municipality, and under its supervision.

This is what I've been able to find doing a quick Google.
Maybe Eli will get conscripted into the IDF. Then he can fulfill his dream of being a bad-ass solider.
