Right now as Eli is trying to get closer to a war torn Gaza he will inevitably be turned away from Jace is smoking pot and trying to find people to play GMod with.

Assuming Eli isn't just leading Jace along and Jace isn't a master ruseman, you would think he'd realize just how shitty of a friend and "commander" Jace really is. Not only does he leave him with no funds to return home he's now playing vidya and getting blazed with Kyle. I bet Eli really appreciates how much Jace cares about him.

Eli does know what a shitty friend and commander Jace is. He called him on it and Jace threatened to leave him in Israel. When Eli was going to go to the US embassy to get a plane home Jace told him if he went he'd call them and tell them why Eli was really there. Eli is now only going to Gaza in fear of Jace ratting him out. Sure, tons of people told Eli that Jace would incriminating himself also so he really wouldn't do it but Eli was stupid enough to fly to Israel in the first place so he's not the brightest bulb.
At this point Eli is only there because he's afraid of being blackmailed or stranded and Eli knows it. Jace just wants someone to get proof of Al-Gamerfood's existence so he can say he isn't crazy. If Eli continues being friends with Jace after this then nobody will feel pity for him the next time Jace convinces him to do stupid shit.
Also, nobody knows what the fuck Tyce is doing during all of this since he supposedly had a hand in making it happen.

Tyce and Eli are scheming. Eli has been in Israel on that free trips for Jews program and has just been feeding Jace a bunch of shit so he can keep getting more money. All of the money that Jace has given Eli is being split between Eli and Tyce.

Then where did the pic with the IDF come in? Honestly, it seems a little too perfect that they happened to have an image like that handy, Eli just isn't that smart to have taken a picture for every known possible scenario to fool Jace.
It's times like these we need a professional hacker who can backtrace the IP's of his tweets and get us a ballpark location (as in "what side of the Atlantic") of where they're coming from.

I want to believe that but Eli wouldn't have risked the money by calling Jace lazy eyed. Also Tyce's easy money schemes tend to not have much planning. If this was Tyce's idea AND he had someone from someone not in sped then Eli would have never went on the plane, he would have just crashed at a friends or relatives, uploaded bogus pics of Tel Aviv and Gaza, "come home", and gotten an Xbox One to top it off. Jace would have a few stock photos that he'd upload everywhere to prove Al-Gamerfood exists while Eli and Tyce magically have much more weed.
An actual Tyce plan seems like to let Jace do his stupid idea, encourage it, and skim a few bucks when he sees the chance. He's not very good at scheming. He's opportunistic.

I mean he's genuinely there now, via that thing. And I was under the impression from the occasional vacation picture I've seen that soldiers weren't very rare in Israel.
