What the Reddit User said is indeed very true, Alex.
I, thank goodness, never experienced a stabbing at my school. However, I did experience suicide. A janitor whose wife supposedly slept with someone else hanged himself in our schools office before anyone arrived.
Let me tell you, homeschooled fellow, the atmosphere was beyond bearable that day. Since it was an all day kinda school where students had to stay long because their parents were working all day, we didn't have to leave, welp, we had the option, of course, but it's not like the whole school closed down this day.
And, just like the person said, the next day, it was actually rather normal again. Of course, everyone still thought about it, but sleeping clears your mind and makes you think ''Okay, that happened. That was totally fucked up. He was a good person. But I can't think about that, I have to stop and focus on the things important to me.''
Surely, the people who worked with him were screwed even weeks after it happened, but you may get the point by now, Alex.

You must know everything about the atmosphere of such events, being a homeschooled guy.

Also, Alex still thinks that he's only taking one day off per month. :stress:

''I take one day off per month. Today, Feb 6th, is my day off for February. I will spend today streaming Shadow of the Colossus at twitch.tv/yanderedev starting at 12 noon PST. I hope you join me!''

Which also means that he's gonna stream today. Surprise surprise.

"Gee, Alex, what do you want to do tonight?"

"The same thing I do every night, fan Midori-chan, Try to take over the world Stream videogames!"

:offtopic:, but at least he used Al Bhed translator correctly this time.
His first Al Bhed “bonus message” had to be decoded as if it was in English, which was confusing.
At first, I thought this was intentional, but this message implies it was not.

A monthly day off doesn’t mean much of anything when the game’s progress is this slow.

I wonder if she'll ever make fan art for Love Me and Seasons of Love.
I hope she'll draw something for the both of us soon even though SoL has been cancelled :heart-full:

That was my first thought as well. We were the first Yansim ripoff, why doesn't Eva-senpai acknowledge us?

You forgot Love Me Truth

Something like this happened in my school too. An upperclassman commited suicide, I think nobody really knew why but it was speculated that it was because his girlfriend left him. In the hallways you could see his classmates crying. Next day was a bit gloomy, but on the third day everything was pretty much normal again.

A homicide would be different, because there's the lingering feeling of knowing you are not safe and the killer may be out there. The school atmosphere wouldn't just "drop"; if there are no security cameras then it would be a priority to install some in strategic locations, and depending on the weapon used (something a forensic pathologyst would know) the institution should ban it or assign a teacher to guard dangerous objects. A real knife shouldn't just be lying there in the cooking club waiting for someone to grab it.

The game at its current state isn't fun at all for its target audience (the one Alex says should be...), most (if not all) of its features are way too simplistic. Of course they don't have to be completely realistic, but the way things are handled at the moment raises so many questions that can't be just brushed off as "game design". Oh well, I should stop with this :optimistic: and remember that if TinyBuild doesn't improve the game nobody ever will. And we all know what happened to Hello Neighbor...

Hello Neighbor already looks like a masterpiece compared to YanSim.

:offtopic: Holy shit, are we living in the same town? This exact same thing happened at my (now former) high school a long time ago. :offtopic:

As I said, Alex prepaired to Stream today, however, the game took much longer to get delievered than he planned.
People in the chat were, of course, bored after hours of waiting, so they tried out some of the Nightbot commands and wow the reactions of Alex were quite the feast.
