Which DSP concept was more ridiculous?
"My inputs are dropping! When you see me pressing and hear the sound of the controller at the same time, that's not synced! My webcam isn't synced to my audio! But my voice is synced with my mouth, just not any other sound!"

"My TV has been lagging! It's been TV lag all along so I need a new TV! An expensive one!"

Phillip's braindead fans have the lowest IQ on this planet i swear or they are simply blind

Because if you ever watch half a session of DSP you know he is the person who enjoy PUBG the least on this planet........

EDIT: Phil just announced he will not make it to 90 or 100 because he has 'health issues he does not really talk about' that apparently rule that out. After Taxapalooza, I guess we're going to get AIDSfest.

Wait, he's talking about age? Holy shit why?
I mean, firstly he's saying he's got like another 40 years on him, that's a long time. Secondly... why bring it up? Not to be too rude... but in 50 years time, will anyone give a shit about him? Pewdiepie? Markiplier? nope. Hell, most celebrities go into obscurity once they don't show up in anything for like a decade.

Part of me really wants to believe he will still be streaming when he's in his 70s.. maybe he realises how screwed he is for retirement as he has nothing but cheers and tips :/

I'm sure i missed it but is there proof he switched the difficulty from normal to easy?

He did show the difficulty and it was on Normal.

The issue isn't the difficulty level, it's that he exploited the ai once he realized it would let him win if he spammed ground moves and submissions.

And then he was pissed he couldn't do the same online.

It's like playing the campaign of dbz spamming 1 combo the ai can't react to then going online with it and ONLY trying that combo, which a real Player can easily recognize and block.

Well, to be fair, this was in the context of some other conversation about having children and the age at which you could have children and hereditary diseases... I was half listening. Someone asked Phil if he was worried about passing down any hereditary diseases, like gout. And he said he was, but not just gout - he has other health issues. Then somehow it got back to age and Phil predicted his early demise.

In summary, it makes sense in context... which itself was nonsense. Par for the course around here.

If you're wigging out at the children, Phil stated that there will be no goutlings running around because he's not financially stable. But given that he's lying about finances, it's probably okay to panic.

In 50 years will anyone know who invented the light bulb? Who performed the first flight? Who thought of the theory of relativity? No! We will only remember the first honest and non toxic youtuber, Phillip "theycallmedsp" Burnell. Greatest video game player ever and one of, if not the most, hard working entrepreneurs the world has ever seen.

"There is no plan b...there never was."
Honestly though, what way does he have out of this? Maybe he is saving some money for retirement, but with the way he blows through it how long could that amount really last? The only way he will stop doing this is if/when the empire goes to shit. Yeah he is making cash, but it is obvious he is a bitter, miserable cunt and saying the word "positive" over and over won't change that fact. Think of how bitter he still is towards Rambo. That was years ago and he hasn't gotten over it. Imagine what things he will spill about Panda in the next few years because if he hasn't gotten over Rambo yet he sure as hell won't forgive the first person to dump him. Was going to write break his heart, but...

My money is on heart issues. It is super common, boring, and vague enough for him to just vomit out random bullshit even if it doesn't apply to him at all.

Not sure if it was linked earlier...

He played 12 hours with campaign but obviously the game did not teach him how to play, the game is garbage. Why is he playing this? There is no point, waste of his time.

"...and of course no one whos dying to see me play online told me that... fuckin idiots... seriously, no, you guys who did that are a bunch of fuckin idiots... fuck off!"

ah. fair enough. Thanks for putting the thought of phil reproducing in my head.

Children, open your history books to chapter 15: Invention of Let's Plays
Now, most people would believe that Pewdiepie or Slowbeef invented the video concept of "Let's Play" but history states that Phillip "DSP" Burnell gave both of those fucking idiots the idea in the first place.

lol that's what happens when you cheese the single player campaign, you get destroyed online because you didn't actually learn how to play the game. Phil could have taken the time to do so, but once he finds an exploit, he'll use it until the devs patch it, which he'll cry endlessly about, or he by chance finds a better exploit, for which he'll blast the game for not telling him about sooner. Even his subs were bored watching him destroy the low-difficulty computer with boring takedowns and submissions in 3 minute fights where he'd never throw a punch; they were begging him to continue playing online because it was more entertaining. Nope, he throws a fucking temper tantrum like a 6 year old that hasn't learned how to handle defeat and goes back to the boring safe space that is his overall 100 character taking on an overmatched AI. To Phil, his fans being entertained by him facing an actual challenge was like they were making fun of him, which they weren't. Hey, maybe if you actually learn how to play the game and get better at online, your fans will reward you with some shekels for your efforts. He's such an :autism:

Its kind of sad that immediately he thinks that fans asking him to play online was a trick to make him look bad. That's some paranoid behaviour right there.

Also ranting about the game wasting his time. How? You play video games all day. How were you going to use that time more efficiently? By playing the exact same game only against the computer instead of a person.

Says online is a completely different game and doesn't want to learn how to play a new game. You play a brand new game every other week so don't give me that excuse.

I don't get how its so difficult to just start the multiplayer match, realize you have no idea what's going on and then go do the tutorials?

I've had it happen plenty of times with games. It's real easy to fix too. Hit the fucking escape key, and go search on Google.

Phil is incapable of passively absorbing game knowledge. Going out on a limb, since I haven't played any game in the series, I'll guess that each 'position' in the takedown have specific button prompts and at some point the player is expected to connect the dots and know what is required to get-out of the hold even if the text is not shown. If he payed more than shallow attention to the game, he might actually learn the patterns rather than expecting the game to simply offer him the solution.

It can certainly be jarring the first few times, especially if you rely on essentially tutorial tips but you should be able to recognize how you're overly dependant on them to complete the game and hopefully take steps to rectify it.

Mostly play cRPGs, a different genre but heavy on giving player useful information like hit chance, area of effect, resistances, ect. They also have an Expert mode that allows you to turn off most of this informaion and force you to rely on knowledge of the game mechanics, trial and error and intution to defeat encounters. It becomes a much more immersive experience and you can focus more on other gameplay aspect visible on the screen. In UFC's case, the annoying text bubbles don't appear to take away your attention from the stunning visuals of your avatar being brutally pounded.

I just find it lulzy that Phil still refuses to get a new router despite that shit not really costing much at all. It makes no sense for him to not bother and it'd be the first thing I'd do if I realized my net was lagging out shit.

Methinks it's because he can use the TV for movies and netflix, the only stuff that prevents him from likely necking himself.

This is the same Phil that claimed that an old woman watching an old CRT fucked up his internet.

I'm going to state this very clearly: Phil does not suffer from depression. At least he's never shared that he's been diagnosed suffering from depression and is on the appropriate medication to help him through such an exhausting mental illness.

There's a huge fucking difference between being depressed and having depression. Everyone gets depressed sometimes, it's human nature. Phil trying to argue he has depression because he sometimes feels sad is somewhat disgusting. I'm sure we all know someone who actually suffers from depression. I'm fortunate to not have it but have family and friends who do. Seeing Phil attempt to guilt some extra money from his viewers by pretending to be suffering a mental illness cements his standing as a complete cunt.

You don't have to be diagnosed to suffer from depression, neither do you have to have ever seen a doctor about it (like people who suffered depression prior to modern medicine). Not many people will even see a doctor because its not always covered under health insurance, and its expensive and takes a lot of time.

There's a lot of debate over the psychology of Phil (there's even a dedicated thread) but most people seem to agree that he has NPD and a few others believe he has ADD. There's a lot of differing opinions over most of it because the definitions date from many years ago, whereas internet use and social isolation that comes with internet use probably throw most diagnoses out the window.

However, both NPD and ADD often have comorbidity with other disorders, such as depression. Now, is Phil being true & authentic when he says he suffers from depression? Who knows. But if you look at him, the way he "enjoys" nothing at all, has increased drinking and seems to want nothing more than to sit on his sofa for 6 hours watching wrassling you can see someone that probably can't find a way to enjoy anything because they're depressed.

His sofa time (to watch TV) seems to be his only escape from his "job" and the time he must spend behind the scenes having to think about the mountain of debt he has and I'm sure it does cross his mind almost every day knowing that he is financially fucked. That's also possibly why he spends money with no concern, because in his eyes, I'm sure he knows that there is almost nothing he can really do to get rid of his debt.

I think the true clues are in his inability to enjoy almost anything, which isn't just a sign of depression but can also be a trademark of living with instant gratification (ADD). Even with his "muh girl" arriving in a few days, he can't even manage to be noticeably slightly happier.

So the typical person who might have depression probably won't be very relevant when you compare it to someone who has depression because of an underlying issue (i.e. comorbidity). His issue, to be clearer on what I'm implying, probably isn't "my wife left me" or "I'm genetically predisposed to depression" but rather someone who has lived with (insert disorder) for their entire life which in turn has caused depression.

When DSP laments about needing a large tv for his business, what he is really saying is, "I want a big tv because I believe that will offset me not wearing my glasses." I wish could see an alt universe where Phil wears his glasses and doesn't miss things that are right in front of him. I'm sure though he'd still be a huge ass though, probably every alternate reality he's a dumbass.

I really wonder what people like DSP would be like if healthcare was actually "free":
  • LASIK eye surgery or glasses/contact lenses
  • Mental healthcare
  • Back surgery
  • Health checkup

  • Agree
