Shit like this is why ERA is a far worse video game forum than GAF was.
With GAF, even when there were witch hunts or some other exceptional shit going on in the regular board, the OT threads at least allowed for a relatively safe means to talk about the games themselves. Not ERA, even the OT threads are bound to the mod's personal feelings on the latest "outrage", where any dissenting opinion is enough to get banned.
If you can't even talk about a game without the fear of being banned, then you have a failure of a forum.

From my experience of NeoGAF, they're basically just a bunch of dipshit upper-middle class white Idpoller Liberals who basically want to use progressive social issues to bully others because if you bully people or be extremely authoritarian while being morally righteous, you can basically freely engage in bullying behaviour and society won't punish you for it. I also honestly believe they're mostly outrage junkies as well and pretty much addicted to both outrage and then the ability to bully people. Another thing is that they suffer heavily from a form of "noble savage" where basically minorities are all perfect paragons of justice and goodness and white people are pretty much evil. (Irony being 99% of them are white and upper middle class)
During 2016, most of us "far-lefties" were banned off Neogaf simply because we supported Economic Justice over Identity Politics. But because Economic Justice would not only help poor minorities, but poor white people, we were all branded as Racist, non-stop abused for weeks on end and then eventually banned, while these dipshits circlejerk over Neoliberals like Clinton and Neoconservative foreign policy. (PoC lives don't matter when KWEEEEEN drones the fuck out of their weddings you see they just get SLAAAAYYYYEED)
Man the level they hated Bernie Sanders was unreal. Honestly I believe if Bernie had won over Clinton, all the PoliGAF dickheads would have voted Trump just to spite Bernie and the left. Literally anybody who came into PoliGAF supporting Bernie was almost instantly banned.

A lot of it is honestly self-flagellation.
They are upper middle class, largely comfortable white people but they know that being in that position is privileged over poor and minorities, so they basically engage extreme "Social Justice" to basically cover the fact that they're the definition of the people they hate the most.
But here is the thing, they're rich white kids and they don't actually want to lose that position and privilege. Sure they'll fight for the poor black person or female to become a CEO because that doesn't affect them personally. What happens though when actual leftists appear and start spouting economic justice and class issues? "Oh no, that's me, I'm a rich fuck who's got a lot of undeserved wealth and privilege!" and they REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE The fuck out and try to smear the ever living shit out of the actual real leftists.
This is why these dipshits on PoliGAF or subs like /r/ESS or /r/PoliticalDiscussion or Twitters Wokesphere, #Resistance absolutely detest Bernie Sanders, Jeremy Corbyn, Melenchon etc while claiming they're the champions of social justice, because they realise that when actual people appear who suddenly have class in the discussion. Their "WOKE" cred is out the window because they're fucking porkie pieces of shit. This is why PoliGAF constantly used that dumbass smear "Brocialist" or "Working class means white" shit, it's because they actually feel personally threatened by discussion of class or economic justice and actual proper leftists were banned enmass for "Brocialism" and "Racism" for simply saying something like Universal Healthcare helps minorities as well.

I've been playing Kingdom Come as it happens. It is great fun and very nicely put together. Bit rough around the edges but it is a new release.
It's also rather difficult and you can't save when you want to unless you have "Saviour's Schnapps" to hand. This is sort of to prevent save scumming. The combat is fun and I do like that your gear gets beaten up very, very quickly, but there's always ways to sneak or talk your way out of things - if your stats are high enough.
I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of overt white supremacist ideology though like what these specimens said there was inevitably going to be. Why, it's not even a male power fantasy because you start the game as an untrained, uneducated normie. How will we cope with something so unproblematic?
