If you break trannies down into "Actually, really feel gender dysphoria" and "Mentally ill cosplaying their fetish", the FtM cosplayer camp look to men, who don't cause pointless screeching drama.

Also, there is a book/documentary "Self-Made Man" about a lesbian considering going FtM and living as a man, and decides its easier living as woman. Society, rightly or wrongly, expects less of women and "protects"* them. Binding their tits and putting on a flannel shirt & a pair of birkenstocks takes away those protections and all but the most dedicated and/or mentally deranged cosplayers aren't giving those up.

I don't feel like getting all the way into the gender theory 205 rabbit hole, so I put protect in quotes to hopefully shut up both sides of the issue.

"Enbies" (an overly cutesy form of "NB," or non-binary) are the natal-female answer to troons. Enbies are overwhelmingly biologically female and the transition consists of a haircut/color and change of pronouns and rarely anything else. They produce a fair amount of autism, mostly of the hilarious rather than dramatic variety.

But in all seriousness I think it was because of us calling them out on that shit and sense we are pretty high on the food chain on google search results when it comes to tll. Pressure from the outside may forced them to open dat second line. Much to shrek's chagrin and objection.

In addition to the fetishistic aspect of it and the aforementioned increased rates of male autism, there are some social things that push the various non-dysphoric bandwagoners to troon out. There are the various incels/chauvinists who transition because they develop a serious case of Grass is Greener syndrome and think being a woman will instantly lead to acceptance and companionship, which is why they usually immediately act like sex pests upon transitioning. I also think a lot of the really insane troons we cover who are frothing social justice extremists are essentially the male version of a political lesbian. They're caught up in an extremely anti-male ideology and can't square that with being male, so they transition.

I for one would NOT want to get on Buck Angel's bad side -- dude looks like someone who could stomp the living shit out of you. ;)

Seriously though, this is NOT going to work out for them -- they aren't going to be able to spin this like they did with Julie Terryberry. If they try, it will probably backfire on them.

And more and more, I've seen people pushing The Trevor Project as an alternative.

Even if they aren’t being legally told to shut the hell up... Greta and Nina don’t want to stir anything right now. TLL straight up shat on them. If anyone googles who they are right now they’ll find us. And what do we have? Evidence. All the evidence.

Greta and Nina would have loved to do nothing more than rake in the TLL bucks for life. But knowing they couldn’t, they took the opportunity to quietly leave when pushed out. Had they made a stink, all their shit would have been blown wide open. Embezzlement of charity funds would not look good for Nina’s status.
