That's slam poetry by Ernest Cline, the guy who wrote Ready Player One. He's written some pretty spectacular shit.

I also believe just because you cant get into a relationship or get laid, that doesnt neccesarily mean you are a social failure. If you are able to interact with people, make friends, have fun, work as part of a team during your job to achieve goals/targets you are doing well socially and mentally in life

Middle-aged Uber driver finds a passenger on Facebook, and follows her to the gym.

So this man picked me up from the gym a week ago and as soon as he dropped me home and ended the trip, he proceeded to beg me for my number and told me that he wants to mentor me. I declined. A few hours later, he wrote to me on facebook. I didn't think much of it since I thought that facebook may have linked our contact or something. He started to write to me on facebook, and then as soon as his tone changed, I immediately let him know how I feel about the situation.

Fast forward to today. I am running on the treadmill and notice someone walking around me. After an hour, I take a break and then hop on back. As soon as I begin to run, he hops onto the elliptical machine right in front of me and keeps turning back to smile and wave. He does this about three times before I recognize him, immediately get off, grab my things and leave. Wtf.

He writes like a 16-year old. Also he just reeks of desperation.

(not related to this) It's funny how many of these idiots actually get a foot in the door, have a woman interested in them and then ruin everything by being so thirsty/angry. If they could just chill out a bit they wouldn't be single.

Some people get so needlessly hurt and confused it's a wonder they even manage to function. Maybe one day they'll learn to stop standing in their own damn way.

I dont think they really have a foot in the door. Women are just being nice and respectful to them and it would be great if they could do the same without expecting anything in return

There are a few conversations posted where they went on a date with someone or had one planned and then it was all over because they flipped their shit because the woman didn't answer a text in 20 minutes or shit like that. The problem is obviously with them, who knows how things would have went? There was obviously some interest, hence the date. This controlling behavior is because of their insecurity and the stance that they see the woman as something they have to conquer (and "defend" from other "conquerors") and would end up amounting to a pretty abusive relationship if it ever came that far. Luckily most women see the red flags and run like hell.

:story: What the absolute fuck? I can't tell if this dude is actually so exceptional he though this was a great way to say "good morning" or if he is just absolutely screwing with her. Either way I cannot stop laughing at "silly nugget".

Problem is always with them, I am a big advocate for individual responsibility. Most nice guys struggle to attract any woman interest (which is fair enough, I understand some guys cant) but then they go on a huge rage about how women only like evil men and how life is unfair which is so immature
