Sometimes you just have to let stupid people do stupid things. Otherwise they won't learn anything.

To quote Charles Darwin, "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge". Eli probably thinks he can overcome any challenge, because he doesn't realize how bad things could get.True. I just can't believe that Eli is this calm while being stuck, alone, in a country where everyone speaks and writes in a language that he doesn't understand.
Why bother sending Eli money to come back home? So he can eventually get his fool self killed in the US, rather than in the very near future in Israel?I doubt that Jace and Eli are smart enough to think up an easy money deal of this scale all by themselves. Like hey, let's make them think you are marooned in Israel and get the internet to give money for a "plane ticket to get home."
Too sophisticated an idea for it to be believable.

The similarities constantly astound me.No, because getting Eli home would destroy Jace's plans...whatever they are. Remember: Jace is on record as saying his conspiracy theories about Al-Gamerfood would be proven 100% correct if Eli dies. So therefore, shit will hit the fan if Eli does not complete his mission but returns to the states alive.
Damn, Eli is really doing some spec ops shit. It's been a month since he's set foot in America. He's a true marine.
Don't forget being a master of disguise.Playing Runescape and downloading encrypted files of Nickleback albums are the activities of a true Spy Stoner Marine.
Aha, I thought people felt sorry for Eli (as I said, he can get killed in a rocket attack in the near future, or he can break his neck attempting some stupid stunt down the line, so protecting him from himself is pointless). No, because getting Eli home would destroy Jace's plans...whatever they are. We felt sorry for Eli a bit in the beginning, at least some people did. But then he was revealed to be just as ignorant, stupid and racist as the rest of Deagle Nation. I don't know what people were expecting.Aha, I thought people felt sorry for Eli (as I said, he can get killed in a rocket attack in the near future, or he can break his neck attempting some stupid stunt down the line, so protecting him from himself is pointless).
If you guys just want to piss off Jace, who am I to tell you what to do?![]()

I hope Eli gets home as soon as possible. But if he ends up pulling a stupid stunt and possibly getting in trouble, that's on him.

At first everyone thought it was just a ruse, that Eli and Tyce couldn't possibly be that stupid. We were wrong. We felt sorry for Eli a bit in the beginning, at least some people did. But then he was revealed to be just as ignorant, stupid and racist as the rest of Deagle Nation. I don't know what people were expecting.

I've watched it many times. I even considered writing my own parody of it.
