Mostly what I take away from this is that Mike Michaud is as incompetent as a manager, and that ties in with the people he hired for the site. The price of good management is higher standards. If Channel Awesome were being run in a professional way most of the 'talent' wold never have gotten through the door in the first place; can you imagine Viacom or Disney putting up with Allison, Lindsey or Jo's drama? Missing performance goals or starting drama with other employees will get you fired from most jobs, it's not a crime against humanity, it's business. The way the #metoo squad is speaking out only when it's beneficial to themselves is more proof that the dysfunction goes much deeper then just the management. Mike's dream of running a multimedia empire is as dead as Doug's dream of being a respected film maker. A dream died that was never meant to be. Going forward it's going to be the Brad and Doug show. The only thing that will truly kill them is YouTube cracking down on their use of film clips. When that happens they are screwed.

Brandon Tenold was the exact same deal before he quit today.

  • 01:01:23 - There was a point where Spoony's earnings were higher than Doug's.
  • 01:02:45 - ... although Doug probably wasn't aware of Noah's popularity

That's quite interesting. Considering that the most horrific claim that Pregler has been pimping was the tale that Elisa was duct taped crucified upside down until she passed out, and received no medical care but was instead forced to cover it up, ummm yeah that's kinda interesting. It's also a reminder to not take things in the "Document" at face value. This is a war of Autists vs Autists each with their own insane agenda. There is BS flying on all sides.

Another example of "be careful of what you read. Look for verification. There is a lot of BS being flung". Yeah it's possible that Mike Ellis made an inappropriate play. There seemed to be some history there. But it should also be noted that Holly was good friends with Pregler and Scarlett (Spoony's ex), and had a hand in having Spoony fired for spurious reasons. We've seen signs that the management resented being put in that position, especially regarding one of their high draw producers. It's likely that that put the target on Holly's back. She was the only one left out of that trio at that time.

Please note I am not defending the Channel Autist idiots in charge. They were and still are Chimps playing with handguns. And deserve all of the pain they are getting. But that doesn't mean that the CA Autistic Producers aren't equally as culpable. They are all idiots.

He's one of those video gameretro guyz that are douchebags: Scalper and/or someone that buy thing so prices end up inflated to augment his hoard value, a genuine backstabber (ask Guru Larry) who suck up to people who are more popular on Youtube and throw them under the bus when he got everything he wanted from them, can't even write his shitty book(s) and tqke creditfrom his ghost writer

Larry and Pat have been feuding for some time now. Over what, I don't know, but Larry has been spreading rumors about him and Pat took a shot at him in one of his videos. I would be somewhat cautious trusting Larry since he's been known to mess around on Encyclopedia Dramatica and such.

Pat didn't own Retroware, so I'm not sure how he could force JewWario to stay. As I heard it, it was Channel Awesome (Mike Michaud, probably, since Doug doesn't care what happens) said JewWario could only be on one site, so he chose Retroware, despite the lower views he'd get.

As far as Pat's book, he's frequently mentioned he's had friends and others write entries for it, so I don't know what people are complaining about.

I like pats and ians podcast, dont mind larry but always seemed to be a bit bitter that he lost his child 'stardom' ( he was on some video game show here in the uk or something)

Pat was rejected by CA years ago...
