The company is likely doomed no matter what. They've lost 28 producers and only have 9 left including Doug. They don't have enough content anymore.

The site will go down but what happens to the YT channel? Does it get closed? Do the Walkers move on and create a new channel? What happens? The interesting thing is that Rob Walker knew about Justin's history of sexual abuse and sat on it.

The only way out the Walker's have is to play dumb and say Michaud knew and they were clued in very late into the drama.

What would stop Doug and his brother from leaving CA and making similar riff-style review videos without using that character? What if he just did them as himself? The Nostalgia Critic IP can't be that valuable. It's just a catch phrase and a cheap costume. You would think Michaud needs them more than they need him.

It depends on the wishes of the producers whose content is hosted on it. I feel it'd be purged for copyright reasons and stored away unless the new owner struck an agreement with the video creators to keep their content there, in which case it'd merely be abandoned.

In any scenario, it's worthless. It only had value because of content that would no longer be produced for it.

With Tiny-Tempered Tamale's departure we can now officially count all the non-Doug CA producers on two hands. I wonder how long it'll take for that number to go into the single digits.

Also, what's weird is that while he has been purged from the list of producers, his site is still one of CA's partnered sites as we speak. Maybe Michaud the Fraud just overlooked that little detail?

I imagine they're walking a very very thin line at the moment. I do feel sorry for both of them as it's not like they were at the forefront of anything and are just working actors.

That being said, I'd bet a substantial amount of monies that Michaud had a hissy fit about them talking to previous CA members.

He needs to address this himself and not hide behind frankly awful statements.

As much as CA was massive Tard Farm, there are things that need to be addressed and Michaud is only making things worse by not releasing any sort of statement or stepping down.

He wants to treat CA like a legit TV network, well every in the case of every TV network that ever existed, when something bad at the network happens generally someone takes the blame and they go down. More often than not it's the network head.
