Wait what? Details please!

In one of the first few comics, her and her Antifa-like goon squad create an unsanctioned prison camp and literally kidnap people off the streets without due process, without them having committed an actual crime and keep them where their families can't even communicate with them.

There is no explanation for how this is justified nor is there any judicial process. She just grabs these folks (see: white males) off the street based on flimsy Minority Report like projections.

And the writing is so bad that the real Captain Marvel actually visits the prison and is completely fine with it.

He probably never been outside of Boston.
That’s what’s ironic about him. For all his talk of globalism making borders obsolete and provincialism being outmoded, he defines himself heavily as being a Bostonian and consideres his homeland to be superior to Middle America in what can only be described as a twisted form of xenophobia, only directed at different regions of his country rather than other countries.

Well, I'm disappointed that Infinity War is getting good reviews. I only wanted it to suck because I'm sick as hell of Bob and his ilk praising it like it's the literal reincarnation of Jesus. And also, I'm sick of the MCU having constantly good reviews when they haven't improve the criticisms. Hopefully, I still maintain that maybe the fan reactions will be like The Last Jedi; where critics loved it and people hated it.

I was expecting it. I'm just waiting the audience reactions.

You'll never get the Silver Age purists on board with Venom, which is why they love Spider-Man 3's blatant Venom-In-Name-Only: he was altered to fit their sensibilities (completely evil with no redeeming qualities or shades of grey to him). So they're basically REEEEEEEEEEEEEing that he's more comic-accurate.

Eh, to be fair I didn't like Topher Venom and the trailer still didn't really do it for me. Then again, it is just a trailer, and I am open to the idea of the movie itself being fine, I'm just skeptical given Sony's history with the Spider-Man franchise and a lot of the behind the scenes dealings involved.

spectacular Spider-Man has done the story best so far in my opinion.

Talking about Infinity War.

You do realize you sound exactly like Bob with your "I hope it sucks because people I don't like will be all over it" spiel? As @TheImportantFart said, you can like or dislike the series to your heart's content, but his MCU love is one of the least interesting parts about him. So please, please stop dragging the thread with your MCU hate-boner.

My apologizes. My self-awareness was absent.

So basically they were a bad company to him until they bought Marvel in 2009.

They're still salty about not having a super big IP to tard cum and Venom is part of this plan alongside another Spider-Man spin-off, Silver & Black, which is another attempt at Amy Pascal's "all female hero team" dream that gave us the Ghostbusters reboot.

I'm personally not against a movie with both Silver Sable and Black Cat, but I don't think doing a Silver & Black movie before having the characters appear in some other spider man material is... wise.

why do I get the strange theory that Bob is being paid by Disney to shill for them?

Nah, Bob just likes the stale formula of the marvel films and the ham-fisted poltical push of TLJ and goes all out defending those film's honor like console kiddies defending their gamebox. Can't say for sure all the other outlets praising those movies, wouldn't put it past Disney to inflate the Rotten Tomatoes/Metacritic scores, but I'm sure they are smart enough not to give Bob money to do so.

Bob and his ilk will always drag reasonable people down to their level of stupidity and beat them with experience. Case in point, my growing disdain for the MCU is in reaction to one person's hate-boner for the DCEU. The dude tried to argue that the character of Chief from Wonder Woman was racist because of his fee-fees and claimed that Native Americans boycotted it. He provided no evidence that was not anecdotal ("all the natives I talk to hated it." How very convenient for him.) And rejected any evidence to the contrary. Said hater also claimed that Steppenwolf killed seventy-five percent of the Amazons in Justice League. I provided the screenshots of the Amazon reinforcements that proved him wrong and that shut him up.

TL;DR. It's okay. Bob has that effect on people.
