I'm pretty sure Sonic Boom is meant to be its own separate canon (not that continuity exists much in Sonic). I'm not sure why Chris can't just accept that it's not Sonic Prime. He's done it for his own characters.
 
And here I thought it'd be over Eggman looking buff or Knuckles' design in general.
Who even notices Sonic's arm colours? They make more sense blue anyway unless he regularly shaves all his arm fur/whatever off...

maybe if sega made all the characters some form of gay, he'd be more accepting
 
But if Sonic came out as a lesbian-identified tomgirl, I'm sure everything would be okay.

I thought they were, but that's probably because I don't know a lot about Sonic. I knew Rosechu was ripped off from Amy Rose, and I just kind of assumed that because Rosechu is a male transvestite, so is Amy Rose. I'm glad that misconception has been cleared up!
 
Sonic Boom (the convention) has been running since 2011 which I imagine was before the game/TV series had been developed. Will Chris start commenting on videos of the Sonic CD theme? Rage at things that happen to have the same name NOW!!!
 
I;m confident the only reason anyone other than Chris would/should likely boycott this... Is if it turns out bad. And that should be the end of it.

But this is Chris (and at large, some Sonic fantards who likely are as unforgiving over simplistic changes as well!) we are talking about - sorry for my ignorance.

This reminds me of the time Richard Kuta ranted about how Sonic had green eyes instead of black in Sonic 4, and how he hated the game because of it. Not because of the gameplay or music or anything like that. BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING EYES.

For what it's worth, the whole deal about the color of Sonic's eyes/arms/shoes/whatever is just pure autism and :stupid:
 
I wonder if in Chris's mind, his 'fame' gives weight to his wild sperging. I bet he thinks some key exec will read his comment and think "oh no, we're being boycotted by the internet famous Christian Weston Chandler, True and Honest creator of Sonichu, Rosechu and the city of CWCville and winner of our 1993 Sonic the Hedgehog Watch&Win sweepstakes. Better tell the Dev team to change Sonic's arm color at once!"

OT: I hate this new Sonic Boom bullshit. Ever since Sega announced it, I've been having a hell of a hard time looking up songs by one of my favorite musicians.

I read this thread as "Chris boycotts sonic" like that fast food place. And then I opened it and was like "wtf I read this like months ago. Wtf is happening". (of course, thinking this was that post from months ago)

The sad thing? I did this with that "chandler cars" thread where I thought it said cats and I though we'd hear about the cats after the fire. Guys, what's wrong with me?

Judging from his previous attempt, Chris is truly a master in the art of stealth.

Speaking of Sonic games, don't hold high hopes for this one being any good.
