If we’re being honest here, I think that like the Parkland kids and SJWs, Bob doesn’t give a fuck about the victims of a mass shooting and just throw temper tantrums about forcing government to do gun control.

More noteworthy: Remington and their affiliated manufacturers have had quality control issues that have given them a garbage reputation, and a disastrous launch for a new pistol a few years back, and have been overtaken by their competitors that make similar guns that don't have the issues Rem does. But Bob's unsourced story is the right one, of course.

Remington is going out of business for the same reason Toys R Us is, vulture capitalism. If you had spent 5 minutes reading about it you’d know that vs spouting your fat mouth off on topics you have not even a surface level understanding of.

And the thing is? Remington will probably be bought out by someone else. But the problem is, Remington became complacent and didn't try to compete. They have some name recognition at least. But they didn't improve on their "classic" designs, they just turned out cheaper versions with MIM parts and uglier finishes and ignored quality control. They didn't come out with any new successful designs to compete. They were dead fish in the marketplace.
The 870 has been around since the 50's and the 700 since the 60's, and they're not irreplaceable in the marketplace. Just about everyone that makes long guns has a competitive shotgun or centerfire rifle.

It's been speculated in this thread what Bob might do if the only thing between him and a violent gang member was a gun, but I think his tweets today regarding MS-13 and gun control answer that quite nicely.
