This stream seems so boring, he's an old man telling stories no one gives a fuck about.

They barely qualify as stories. He could've done a bit of research, fucking watched a Didyouknowgaming at the very least, to give some background stories behind the games. Instead he's just listing the differences between the games in his long rambling style, then playing the game in near-total silence, not interacting in the chat. He's also playing the game on normal, but he's still cheesing the AI using endless spammy bullshit. Like does anyone really need the differences in logo colour between SF2 versions explaining to them? It's a fucking horrific stream.

I think he just responded to DSP tweet in a very vague way. " I'm down ". Later he pretty much disregarded the whole idea.

Pretty much everyone in the Western FGC, or apparently the Eastern section considering Omega lives in Japan, knows about DSP. He’s that infamous a scrub.

This is a small thing, but Phil called stuff from his Teespring store "collectibles" during prestream. Multiple times. The ego, man.

I will just say regarding hating/pitying DSP, it isn’t worth the time to feel feelings of hatred or pity for him. He took something that people typically used as a hobby and escape from reality and turned it into how he get donations from others.

Disliking DSP is fine and totally normal, but if you feel legitimate hatred and anger for him, it’s best to just tune out the negativity and toxicity and focus on other things in your life. I have had to for a month or two at a time so that his boringness and repetitiveness didn’t kill me. Where anyone gets the idea of pitying him is beyond me, he didn’t land himself in his current situation through the actions of others.

He’s the one that chose to start this let’s play idea on YouTube and carry on with it. He’s the one who chose to put all of his chips into video games instead of looking for another job years ago when he was fired from his helicopter job whatever that was. He was the one that chose to move across the country because his condo wasn’t big enough to his liking. He was the one who has time and time again shown his true colors by going in front of a camera to beg for money only to blow $1300 plus food and drink on a staycation when Pokemon GO first came out. He’s the one who taunted people with his “not gonna share personal info” sayings and then letting loose inevitably shortly afterward. He was the one who has composed tweets of jealousy and anger and given half-assed apologies that only exacerbate the situation.

No one did this to him, these were all things he deliberately did and acted on. No one forced him to do them, and he could have stopped. This isn’t like he did something at gunpoint or he got hit by a car and became paralyzed and suddenly couldn’t walk anymore and left him as a cave hermit that plays video games for money.

All of us have our own personal problems to attend to, but none of us are going to be as exceptional as Phil has been and be transparent about things that shouldn’t be anyone else’s concern. He will continue to push his narrative that nothing is ever his fault though and if you believe him when he says that ever...

Spends ages bigging up the game and how amazing it is. Picks Deejay - bear in mind he's the 2nd best Deejay in the world here. 2nd match, gets bodied twice in a row by Ryu. Then by Deejay in the next stage. Unironically blames the lag, then realises he's not online and trails off. Any pretence of an "education" stream are completely gone, he's just chimping out at his favourite game, calling it a broken piece of trash. He keeps saying the AI keeps doing things that "don't work in the real game". Not input reading, mind you. Literally breaking its own code to fuck him.

Now he's getting bumraped by Chun Li. Remember, this is the game he's BEST AT.

This is whats gonna happen. Because this was one of the most boring streams, views will be awful. In a few days, dsp will say that everybody is an idiot who said he should do longer videos. And will just go back to 10 mins videos while banging his chest that he told us.

Free Tip Dave (and this is Real Talk™): You have a limping patreon and a Twitch stream that gets you a living wage. My suggestion is to give up that precious youtube legacy and start working on other streams of revenue before patreon, Twitch, or both go tits on you like youtube did.

I think people on here are correct with how he is still "relevant" I say that with jest because the whole "underdog" act is a farce. How is making 8k a month being an underdog? It's interesting...Phil's really pushing tipping right now. If he was just trying to drum up more money overall, he would happily accept cheers, subs, and tips no matter what, but he is expressly, multiple times in prestreams, saying that he really wants tips. Makes me think he's pissed away his money without setting any aside for taxes yet again. Guess we'll see what happens come June 15th.
