Larry Bundy Jr. Had the exact same experience with Phil.A comment taken from YouTube he posted below.

I tried doing a crossover with Phil once, and he was all for it... But then came the long list of things he wouldn't do, formats he'd play them on and exact times he'd do it, and it then devolved into bitching about the haters, and not letting me run one on my Twitch channel in parallel, as my 30 Twitch viewers a video might impact his views! so I just gave up in the end :(

So LTG is telling the truth on this for sure, let's see how DSP lies about this to cover it up.
Holy shit. Was really curious about these terms but this puts things into perspective. Might have told LTG to not stream at the same time, not to upload his footage from his perspective, to agree to fight only when DSP was streaming etc.

Terms? Fucking TERMS? Dave, it's a video game, not a trade agreement between two superpowers. You turn the game on, you match up and you play. This was the easiest boost to your views in ages and you blew it all for the sake of your ego?

But no, I'm sure making a fucking shower video was the sensible decision. Some things are just more important than money. Real talk.

So something that was particularly annoying to listen to earlier was a segment where the AI Guile in super turbo did a jump in Fierce (which he called jump in kick because he’s blind) into standing fierce into flash kick, then Phil whines and says you can’t do that.

So I tried it and it is totally possible. Part of me wanted to upload a video showing it is possible and tag Phil on Twitter telling him to stop spreading false information, but I thought about it and I would just get blocked and one of his supporters would probably call me a cheater in broken English. Probably not worth going through the trouble in the end.

You could record some footage of it and then ask one of the many dozen detractor channels to make a video of it, crediting you.

It's definitely possible. That raised a lot of questions since Phil mentioned that since the game is sped up slightly, that it makes charge characters more wack(lack of a better word). But if it's a slightly faster version, wouldn't you need less time for a charge to complete?

None of this surprises me, I just said here like two days ago tops dave doesn’t know how to interact with people anymore. He has to make sure if he’s got total control or the high ground before he will talk. And he doesn’t talk with people, he takes to them. He’s terrified of someone doing or saying something can control.

so what do you guys think DSP's terms were?
willing to bet mostly "you can't strim while I strim.. MUH VIEWS!!"
and "we can't talk to each other during the match"
maybe a "you can't upload your side on YEWTUUB.. MUH VIEWS!!" or something

i'm curious if DSP will spin this to "LTG IS A DETRACTOR AND SET ME UP" or will he keep brown nosing and say "LTG WUZ JUS BUSY WE WILL DO THIS LATER, SOUND GOOD?"

How does everybody know that DSP had terms that LTG wouldn't agree to? I just see a Tweet from Drgnkiller, then people citing that tweet?

It was most likely similar to what Larry had, We do it exactly at the time I want, you can't stream it at the same time *snort* as I really need that money, I really do. I get exclusive rights to it for X weeks on YouTube, sound okay?

I also wonder if DSP went on a hater rant to LTG sounds like something they could actually talk about as both of them are assholes who people dislike.

Noob here, but I was under the impression that AIs in fighting games always get to do weird cheaty stuff that you can't do as a player. You know, to make up for the inherently unfair matchup between a human mind and whatever kind of AI routine can be programmed into a tiny Super Nintendo cartridge.

Allegedly came from LTG's stream yesterday or so, I think? He apparently doesn't record his streams anymore, but it's also claimed that others do and post it up on Youtube, so I imagine if it's true, it'll be on there soon.

It's really easy to imagine Phil bitching about taxes and those booksmart YouTube nudniks to LowTierGod.

So my guess would be yes. I wonder what will happen to LTG now that he has been caught in the autism magnet.

It was most certainly a rule about no trash talking. LTG enjoys a bit of banter. Probably some exclusivity rules as well. That would have gotten DSP so much attention, can't believe he passed that up. Wonder if DSP required payment from LTG for the collab, that could be an issue as well. I don't think LTG has much money.

To a certain extent, this is true and a reason why it’s extra annoying when Phil keeps bitching about Deejay’s uppercut damage like he seriously doesn’t know somehow that the AI does more damage to the player in ST. That specific thing he said earlier about the guile combo was just straight up bullshit though.

Yes the AI probably cheats and charges charge moves instantaneously out of convenience and to stay in the spirit of fucking the player over harder to take more quarters, but Phil having the ignorance to just be like “OH MA GAWD DOOOD YOU CANT DO THAT” is so infuriating. The main thing is that the AI does more damage, but their moves absolutely do not change properties outside of boss Bison/Dictator. I don’t even play super turbo and I went and tested th Guile combo in less than 2 minutes to verify it is most certainly doable. Not reliable, but doable.

He looks incredibly uncomfortable.

Notice how he always crosses his arms so he looks more intimidating and his arms look bigger. It could be a social tic he has:

Now because he's not social at all it seems he developed a new tic in the last two years where he constantly moves around like someone with Parkinsons.

Aside from the fact that this is patently untrue, at least for Twitch (and for Youtube too unless his CPM spiked up), this sorta ruins the "can't pay muh bills" narrative he's been trying to push, no?

@BrandNewDetractor , are you still a patron on the forums? If so, can you check and see how many people are voting in the Patron's choice poll? As of the figure Phil posted showing the current results, there's either 67 or 134 votes out of 140-145 patrons.

I'm not sure how the SF AI cheats, but the early Mortal Kombats AI were some cheap shit. They will read inputs just like a computer. No 36 year old has been can keep up with it; extremely calcuated inputs and reactions. This is why it brings out so much salt in him that he will accidently spurt out that its LAG DUDE.

edit:few things and adding:
He was able to abuse it extremely with early version of SF by picking top tier cheap shit like Bison with his psycho crusher cross-ups, blanka balls, baiting ken shoryukens, crouching moves in a corner etc. Not sure why he went the non cheese route for his favorite game unless he's just insecure, oh wait.

Phil is the type of person that gets his paycheck and immediately spends all of the money on stupid/unnecessary/expensive crap, then panics when he has to scrape by for the next few weeks on whatever is left
I came across the 50-30-20 rule a long time ago:
  1. Calculate your after tax income
  2. Don't create "necessities" in your life that cost more than 50% of it
  3. Don't create "wants" in your life that cost more than 30% of it
  4. Use the remaining 20% to fulfill financial goals like retirement savings and debt repayment
A few other notes include:
  • "Don't create necessities" doesn't mean stop eating food and starve yourself, it means don't create things like another mortgage with another minimum payment
  • "Necessities" include clothing, but not new clothing when you have plenty that are warm and fit reasonably and don't allow your naughty bits to poke out yet
  • If your "necessities" cost more than 50% of your income some of them might actually be "wants"
  • Extra payments are "wants," if they don't have any tangible negative impact on you, meaning if you rack up a fuck ton of credit don't pretend that extra payments fit in that last 20% because otherwise you're making them more important than saving for retirement
So now that swagginz changed her name again... does she have a different one on twitch too?
KlngSwagginz is an account that has a similar name, but yeah they changed both their Twitter and Twitch.

I assume it was his "best month on YouTube dood" because he got a fuck ton of views for unprivating Persona 5 stuff, and that he is basing that particular assumption solely on views and not income.

The ST A.I. cheats by reading your inputs. Funny you mention Mortal Kombat because MK 2 A.I. does something different: the A.I. in MK 2 can run up and grab you after knocking you down. Which is something you absolutely cannot do in the game.
