Chris's fascination with Teenage Dream is amazing. He really has to believe that all of his relationships now are the ones he "deserved" in high school.
 
More Than a Feeling is featured in Guitar Hero. And Carl mentions it in Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Obviously it's impossible to verify where Chris heard of the song first and decided that he enjoyed it, but I'd bet you dollars to donuts that if it wasn't for these sources, he'd never have even heard of the band.
 
You know guys, I'm just saying, there might be another reason that Chris' heartsweet's face is censored. It might not be because Chris' art is so good that she'd be immediately recognizable to anyone who saw it. It might be because she has a distinguishing feature, like say a facial piercing or piercings, that would make it easier for the weens to recognize her. Just a thought there, just a thought.

Also, holy shit is Chris' taste in music generic. I mean, we already knew that, but if it wasn't a top 40 hit decades ago, featured in a video game or cartoon, or sung by Brittney Spears, it's like he doesn't even know it exists. I mean, I suppose it could be worse. At least he's not listening to Justin Bieber or anything, but I still feel like we need to give the poor kid a musical intervention.

For a moment there I thought you meant he hates androgynous people. A quick google search clarified things >.> atleast Chris is not the type to actually invest efforts to hit on someone (e.g. me).
I do wonder how this all wil make sense in the end.
