You know, despite getting to live in his brother's basement, I'd be inclined to sympathize slightly with his predicament: self-employed, with multiple small revenue streams in an expensive state and Patreon (presumably his single largest income source) presumably not doing withholding or other tax conveniences. I would think that Bob would delight in how Andrew Johnson left the South so broken during Reconstruction that it left those states in an impoverished state that you could still argue that goes on still to this day, allowed the seeds of resentment and Jim Crow grow, and how Carpetbaggers went to take advantage of the wounded south.
