During Dave's GTA streem last night, one of his mods - Anony - mentioned he was going to buy Dave a new PS4 Pro and asked for his shipping address to which Phil jumped up and said to email him.

I hope the new ps4 will change absolutely nothing and he blames Sony for making a peace of shit console. If he would get a new device every time something seems to be broken he would have changed more goods than human body cells during his lifetime.
It's more probable Mr "Other ppl need to install my modem", Captain "I put my couch right there where I dropped it", Senior "How do I use potions / How do I shoot" doesn't understand the problem and is too impatient and lazy to search for and actually fix the problem.
I imagine he searches in his ps4 menu, totally the wrong options, then the right options but doesn't read the text or doesn't know how he can scroll, then randomly clicks through the game library and shouts: This is so stupid dood, this console is broken!
Now he knows who's a troll, ack ack ack. Cahman, only legit critic allowed dood.
If he won't rage openly I bet he will do it in silence, maybe yells it out on stream. He won't take it silently (for too long) .
EDIT (I do this quite often, right?)
Will critic even reach him if he already banned or muted any possible troll on the internet?!

If this happens, odds on which one buys him a 4K or bigger 4K TV? I'm not really clear on if he's been begging for a new one, or his first one.

You are on the right track. If that tard Anony does come through and send Dave the PS4 Pro, you know as soon as he receives it and starts to use it, that he will drop hints about needing a 4K TV in order to get the best experience. I also bet that he will try to convince his viewers that a 4K TV will improve the quality of his streams (which is a total lie but his chat is stupid enough to believe whatever he says).
Also, I find it really telling that Catherine St. Jean has a PS4 Pro but Phil has never used it or mentioned using it. DSP is her meal ticket (until she finds a new guy at the gym and trades up) so you would think that she would let him use it since it is for his job. I may be reading into this too much, but it strikes me as strange and may give insight into their relationship dynamic.
What is DSP's is Cat's and what is Cat's is Cat's including the Subaru.

I love when he does this. Just like last time, any criticism that might require him to change anything or put more effort into his work will be dismissed as "factually inaccurate", and he'll give a long list of reasons why it doesnt make "logical sense". Guaranteed mention of detractors making shit up about him. Then some story about how alottapeepul love how his streams work now so there's nothing to change. Eventually he'll do or say something stupid again because cash is low, then we'll get the same tweet where he's trying to learn from his mistakes. The cycle of autism continues!

Back when he had a pro as a short lived Patreon goal he said he hoped his capture card could capture 4k. Instead of just doing a google search I guess he was just going to cross his fingers and hope it all worked out. If he put any more thought into this purchase then "I want it and once I have it I have an excuse to get the TV" i'd be surprised.

I guess he still doesn’t know that he needs a $3-400 4K capture card huh? Don’t worry, he’s a professional.
Also, I’ve never recorded anything in 4K but I can only imagine that the file sizes are massive. Which would translate into him burning through external hard drives for his archiving at an accelerated rate.
