You know, I've dealt with a lot of people who are for one reason or the other ashamed to be male. Chris is an exception to almost every rule, but the big thing is that he HATES 99% of all men. Call it a slowpoke, but this identification as female thing? It's something common that people who share a similar shame do. Sometime because of internal shame, sometimes because they think they'll get women. Just a thought.

Yes, Chris hates men. Yes, Chris is ashamed of being male. Yes, Chris thinks he'll get women by being a woman.

I think somebody said in an earlier thread that Chris assuming he will get a woman by being a woman might go to the assumption that the more effeminate a guy is, a girl will be friends with him.

I don't know about that, he's going for china, not just friendship. So Chris is explicitly pursuing lesbians or anyone he thinks he can persuade into being a lesbian (so every other girl ever, so far as Chris thinks).

It looks just like a younger version of Bob. Assuming photoshop Id bet good money its him. We know his middle name is Franklin ( like the turtle) and he is originaly from Alabama. Even 70 years ago, he looks pretty unhappy..

Best case scenario: His sweetheart or someone like that convince him to apply to some minimum wage job. He runs into a supervisor who is understanding of his autism. Financially, he muddles through, with cheap but functional vehicles and housing.

Worst case scenario: No job, relies on the tugboat. Financially, he muddles through with cheap but functional vehicles and housing.

Of course he could win the lottery or be struck by lightning or go to jail. But I don't think any of that is particularly likely. I think his best case and worst case scenarios look remarkably similar. I think the best improvement he could reasonably make is if he concludes he wants a job. I am not expecting it, but shit happens, and maybe he will evolve in that direction over the next few years.

Other than that, the only uncertainties are cosmetic. Does he keep the tomgirl persona up? How many times does he rant on the internet? How well can he keep up his resistance to trolling attempts.

Well, I guess I can't really argue with that since he does make a difference between gal-pals and sweethearts, but I think he's a tad too optimistic about his chances to turn a gal-pal into a sweetheart. At least I think so when I look at the Megan and Wallflower Sagas. That's most probably what I messed up in my post. When I now think about the whole Megan ordeal, he desperately tried to turn her into his sweetheart and got pissed when it didn't work out. Similar with the Wallflower... The infamous "You're not ready for a boyfriend, you told me yourself!"-line comes to mind.

I'd think they'd be more likely to explain that they're lesbians, so not interested in being with a guy, no matter how pretty his nails look.

That does lead to the question of whether Chris is trying to chat up any of the lesbians at the events he's going to. I'd assume not, but could that lead to a lesbian-oriented attraction sign so that they understand that he's available?

According to his Facebook, Chris attended the National Coming Out Day hosted by the UVA LGBTQ center.

It looks like he's at least making some effort to socialize, which is a positive development. At least he's getting away from Barb at these events, even if it's only for a little while.

A lot of them don't look like they're smiling. Might have been a thing at the time, you didn't smile in formal portraits. You're supposed to look austere or something.

As someone above, I wonder how Chris will try to attract lesbians, if he tries to do so. Now that we know his relationship is 'open', he might actually go for it.
And I wouldn't be surprised if Chris would come to the conclusion that Lesbians are JERKS, right with some new cwcism like DYRKE (dyke + jerk). I mean, if his advances get foiled by lesbians not being into him, he might see this as some sort of betrayal and go ballistic.

I wouldn't be surprised if he fliflopped on the issue the most convenient way, but without dropping the female-identified lesbian in a man's body schtick.

Has Chris ever seen Metalocalypse? It is on Adult Swim after all. If he did, what would he think of it? He's liked gorier things, but there are a lot of homosexual undertones (that Chris probably doesn't get) If anything, I'm guessing he uses it as mass debating material.
