Chris was placed into Therapeutic Docket program for mall trespass case

In order to get though the 3 phases of the program Chris needs to show that he is financially stable, and pay off all court costs form the program. With the latest lawsuit against him for non-payment the court/program will either drop him or give him guidance/resources/help/force in some way for him to address this and his other issues with money.

He'll just get his pay pigs to donate more and spend less on toys for a short time until it's taken care of and he's out of the program, then he'll go back to buying useless plastic using high interest loans with money he gets for free. Nothing will change.

Under the program Chris also needs to meet with mental health professionals under the program, even if he didn't have what ever the fuck is going on his head now and it was just his autism it's clear this is something Chris desperately needs.

Chris will not bring up the Cwcville delusions during psych sessions because he knows other people don't believe in it and that they will think he's crazy. His real problems won't be adressed and nothing will change.

He also needs to be clean of any new convictions.

He doesn't get in trouble very often. He can stay out of trouble for the duration of the program.

I admit I was being a bit :optimistic: in the post, but I still think it would be more work for Chris to do all of that even in a temporary basis then if he paid a fine or some how survived jail for a few weeks, this program lasts up to a year (IIRC).

Even if he doesn't learn a thing he is still going to "suffer" though lack of new toys for longer then until his next (few) tugboat(s), and facing some responsibility for his actions by doing stuff he doesn't like, facing multiple people who have authority over him, and no new toys/games.

Now the positive re-enforcement I question the effectiveness for Chris, but maybe some how it will re-enforce "If I do x I get y yay!" Pavlovian like behavior. :optimistic:

A rose, huh?

That is perhaps the most faggoty, pointless, hippie-dippie bullshit boondoggle I've ever heard. Might as well tacked on a complimentary bag of Famous Amos cookies and a mammogram.

I'm surprised Chris hasn't tried to see a OBGYN or talk his doctor into giving him a mammogram yet. Dude has the biggest mantits ever, plus, isn't Barb a "surviver" (see: bullshit) of breast cancer. Chris probably doesn't even know what a OBGYN is, and if he does, his definition of their job would be, "dey get to look at Dem beautifil, delicate, woman's China, cervex, overies, and all".

This is the only real test. His charge is too low, and his potential for improvement so narrow for them to even see past it.

I'm sure any requirement for improvement is purely nominal. It's just an option for help chris can get help with if he wants to change. He'll be just fine doing the bare minimum of complying with his visits and staying out of any real trouble.

Men die from breast cancer every year. And yes, they diagnose it with mammograms.

As for me ... I dunno. This is easy for me to say because I have no skin in the game and Chris never tried to kill me with a car, but there's something irrational in me that winces at the thought of throwing a guy into jail because he thought CWCville was going be be destroyed by moon lasers. I don't like the idea of jail, I agree that letting him get off scott free would be worse.
I really don't think Chris could handle being in jail for a few weeks, I just see him pissing off the other inmates. Even if he was in Ad seg I don't think he would make it and come off any better for it.
I'm not so sure. Depending on where you are and how modern the facility is, county jail can really just be more boring than scary or dangerous. Chris would be bored to death, cut off from his creature comforts of toys, technology and salty fast food.

I think that would scare him shitless more than any compassionate attempt to ease him into compliance.

Edit: Heh, and I doubt Barb will put much money into his jail commissary. Usually the luckier guys have family or girlfriends to do that for them. It's the one thing that would make his stay slightly more bearable, because he could get somewhat less bland food to satisfy his salt craving.

Remember back in the day they'd offer you jail time or the Army? Could you imagine Chris in basic dealing with his own R. Lee Ermy drill sergant?

"Private Chandler, why are you not out of your bunk when reveille is playing?!!?"

"*stress sigh* I feel so stressed out Drill Sergeant!"

HIlarity would ensue I tells ya, ensue!!!

I mean, would throwing him in jail really be justice? This is a person that shit on the floor because someone threatened to blow up his comic book town with a moon laser.

Though I do agree that the docket doesn't give him as nearly as much help as he actually needs.
Prison will not help him but some time in a mental hospital with real shrinks instead of the ass patting quacks he saw in the past may help him, big emphasis on the may.

Other than rehab, which is for drug issues, IDK of any long term mental health facility that would take Chris. Mental hospitals are more for stabilizing people who are a threat to themselves (suicide, bipolar) or others (some people with schizophrenia or other psychosis) and returning them to the community. At most, Chris would go to a group home type place where, apart from being overseen for basic care like hygiene upkeep and going to bi-monthly doctors appointments, he'd be left to play all day and go on group trips to the movies.

Haha that would be on his fans.
"It is I, Christine Chandler, and I need money for honey buns and ramen! Please donate Post Haste!".

He could always do prison tattoos for extra commissary.

He cut open his own taint, twice! As well as punching his mother, shitting on the floor and paying $6k ransom in return for not blowing up a cartoon town with a moon laser.
