To be clear, though, he has still been getting $150-$200+ in cheers and subs each day, for the most part. So he's doing about average, but that's "bad" compared to the juiced up past couple of months.
So he's on track to, as always, easily be able to afford all his bills and living expenses but just under the threshold he'd need to be able to afford something for a DSP tries it.
I have an idea for his next sub goal: if he reaches X number of subs he'll tell his fans why he never followed through with his other sub goal. I'm sure people would sub to find out, unless they were banned for asking about his other sub goal.

Lol, even working 7 days a week that's barely enough to cover Phil's mortgages and taxes.

Phil needs $300 a day 6 days a week to afford his taxes, mortgages, utilities, debts, health insurance, food, etc...

There's a real good chance that both his mortgages add up to $3500-$4000.

I honestly believe even with Kat's income he needs to make at least $90k a year to stay afloat.

Eh....sorta. It depends on if you buy that he has a bunch of debt he's paying off as well. This is a list of his approximate monthly bills that I'm aware of and some rough estimates of others:

Mortgage x2 @ $1500 apiece: $3000 (note that I'm assuming this includes all condo fees as well as the standard inclusion in a mortgage of property taxes and whatnot)
Electricity + Water: ~$150 per the mrstupid1 leaks
Intelligent Adult Human Business Internet (TM): $300 (I think?)
Car payment: $300 (100% estimated; if someone wants to improve it, be my guest)
Cell Phone: $50 (probably more if he's paying for Kat's, which is likely, but I like to assume a minimal amount rather than overestimate)
PSVue: $50
Netflix: $11
Amazon Prime: $10 ($119 yearly split over 12 months)
WWE Network: $10
Food: $600 (again, 100% estimated; comes out to a generous ~$20 per day; I fully believe he still eats fast food a bunch, so $10/meal due to him skipping breakfast is reasonable)
B&O Tax: ~$125

I'm already at about $4300+, and this doesn't include things like his federal taxes (which could easily be $1000 when broken out monthly on $100k annual income, the level he's estimated to have been at the past few years), the games he isn't gifted ($30-$60 apiece), his debt payments (between his claimed loans and credit cards, lord only knows), and any other unexpected expenses. Keep in mind as well that my monthly breakdowns don't factor in things like fees he has to pay to actually get his money from Twitch (something like $.39 + 3.9% or something). Same for Paypal and Patreon.

Basically, as others who ninja'd me while I was writing this up said, he's been making a decent amount of money, but he's also spending recklessly. So his breakeven point is probably higher than $200/day.

So he's fucked regardless. We all know he won't change his spending habits.

When does skipping games ever bother Phil? He only cares about those day one views.

-Sad part is his IRL steams gets way more viewers then most of his gaming streams-

So unless he sees a new whale or two, or some other influx of money we could get some serious hardcore begging soon? Sounds like a good reason to get some popcorn.

Pretty much, yeah. Expect it to really ramp up around Thanksgiving and Christmas again since that worked for him last year to the tune of literal thousands of dollars. I'm curious to see what angle he takes, though. Last year it was, obviously, MUH TAXES TO SAVE MUH HOUSE. But this year, Tut gave him a highly visible injection of money. And honestly, I think even his actual fans are tired of hearing about his money troubles (some of them, anyway). Even some of them are starting to pick up on the realization that it's unlikely Phil is constantly on the precipice of bankruptcy but always squeaks through. Hence the lack of bounce-back since Tut peaced out (imo).

I've gone in depth on these taxes before, but when you calculate it out, Phil's CT Income tax (assuming a $120,000 income) would have come out to about $7,400, vs. a Washington B&O tax of at least $5,880 on the same income. Thank god Phil isn't paying $1,600 over that year on a completely useless, income-free property in Connecticut. Paying, say, 10 times that amount on an underwater mortgage, sure would put Phil in a shitty position.

I love that Phil cant be asked to make a DSP Tries It.

Like, drive to Mcdonalds, get a six piece of the sweet spicy glazed chicken tenders, go home, set up your shitty camera, and gobble them down like the pig you are. Snort a few times, maybe a burp, then say YEAH ITS OKAY.

Hell, have the horse cart your slop home for you when she gets off work. Is 'hey bitch get ya king (you know phil calls himself this) some nuggies and a [whatever abomination taco bell is selling this month] on your way home' going to be the straw that gets her to leave you?

No, so make the mule work for her apples.

God, look how fucking pale his skin is. Also not a clown....

Great pic ratko

Geez this guy has some real mental gymnastics skills to act like a complete fool and stream AND YouTube it daily. Please note the stuffed toy even looks embarrassed

Reminds me of a scene from the office "safety training episode":

Darryl Philbin: [trying to talking Michael out of jumping off the roof] Mike, you're a very brave man. I mean it takes courage just to be you. To get out of bed every single day, knowing full well you got to be you.

Michael Scott: Do you really mean that?

Darryl Philbin: I couldn't do it. I ain't that strong and I ain't that brave

Prestream is usually his honeypot. The last few days he’s been struggling save for $100 he got for the release night stream for BLOPS4. He made like $3 yesterday in tips. That’s really, REALLY bad for Phil.
No wonder why they are as long as they are and he refuses to shorten them. He knows this, you know it, we all know it by now.

That's still horrid compared to what he could be making by just not acting like a retard. I don't know Phils numbers but I've watched really small streamers come up and even when they're still small they'll make more then $150-200 a day.

Still, I guess it's $25/hour if he does an eight hour stream. Not great money but not horrid either.

He never understood shit like consumer confidence or trust between a business and their customers. I honestly don't get how anyone can donate through twitch or his patreon. He's shown he's incapable of completing patreon requests on more than one occasion and failed on plenty of other "goals" he set. While it'd be a slow progression, if he could shown some actual backbone and actual gratefulness he could get what other streamers his size (or smaller) can get. But you know, nothing is ever his fault and he needs your help; he won't make any real changes, and I doubt he ever will. If there was a time for him to seriously rethink himself and the shit he does, it would've been when Tut said LTG's community is better. Now I personally enjoy watching LTG, because it's like watching a monkey fling shit at a zoo; but to have one of your whales say he's going elsewhere because someone like LTG is better than you. That's a sign from the heavens in neon LEDs telling you to unfuck yourself.

The sad thing is that even if reality finally slapped him in the face, Twitch goes away and/or the whales finally stop feeding him, he would STILL be making around 20-30K per year just with YT and Patreon. All he'd have to do is move back to Connecticut or move back in with mommy and daddy and he'd be fine.

True, although I wonder how much of his debt could be discharged in a bankruptcy (although I guess selling his WA condo, if the increased price is accurate, could cover most/all of it). If he couldn't dump debt or cover it with a house sale, that would be a problem, especially with YT revenue dropping.

He might even come out in the black if he sold the Washington condo. Unfortunately, we don't know just how much debt he has. If any. It's possible that his claims over debt are exaggerated lies.
